Warriors is an unreleased pilot for a military medical drama television show that, if picked up, would have aired on the American channel ABC. The pilot was directed by Martin Campbell and starred Morena Baccarin, Justina Machado, and Eloise Mumford.

The premise for the series was to have focused on a group of military doctors and nurses at a facility inspired by Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. [1]

Premise

The film follows active duty military doctors and nurses as they practice trailblazing medicine on critically wounded warriors returning home from Afghanistan, military families and veterans, and Washington's government elite.

Production

ABC ordered a pilot episode for Warriors in 2014 and brought on Martin Campbell to direct. Christopher Keyser wrote the script based on an original teleplay by Steven Baigelman. Filming took place in Vancouver, British Columbia. [2]

Ben McKenzie American actor and producer

The Good Doctor is an American medical drama television series based on the 2013 South Korean series of the same name. Actor Daniel Dae Kim noticed the original series and bought the rights for his production company. He began adapting the series and, in 2015, eventually shopped it to CBS, his home network. CBS decided against creating a pilot. Because Kim felt so strongly about the series, he bought back the rights from CBS. Eventually, Sony Pictures Television and Kim worked out a deal and brought on David Shore, creator of the Fox medical drama House, to develop the series.

Longoria Bastón also appears on the series in a recurring role. Grand Hotel was cancelled in October 2019 after one season.
