"Relax" is the debut single by Frankie Goes to Hollywood, released in the United Kingdom by ZTT Records in 1983. The song was later included on the album Welcome to the Pleasuredome (1984).
A remix is a piece of media which has been altered or contorted from its original state by adding, removing, and changing pieces of the item. A song, piece of artwork, books, video, poem, or photograph can all be remixes. The only characteristic of a remix is that it appropriates and changes other materials to create something new.
Jiminy Cricket, also referred to as J. Cricket, is the Walt Disney version of the "Talking Cricket", a fictional character created by Italian writer Carlo Collodi for his 1883 children's book The Adventures of Pinocchio, which Disney adapted into the animated film Pinocchio in 1940. Originally an unnamed, minor character in Collodi's novel who is killed by Pinocchio before returning as a ghost, he was transformed for the Disney adaptation into a comical and wisecracking partner who accompanies Pinocchio on his adventures, having been appointed by the Blue Fairy to serve as Pinocchio's official conscience. In the film, he sings "When You Wish Upon a Star", widely considered the Walt Disney Company's signature song.

Radio edits may also be used for commercial single versions, which may be denoted as the 7" version. However, not all "radio edit" tracks are played on radio.
"Truly Madly Deeply" is a song by Australian pop duo Savage Garden, released as the third single from their self-titled debut album in March 1997 by Columbia Records, Roadshow Music and Sony Records. It won the 1997 ARIA Music Award for Single of the Year and Highest Selling Single and was nominated for Song of the Year. Written by bandmates Darren Hayes and Daniel Jones, the song is a reworking of a song called "Magical Kisses" that the pair wrote together during the recording of their debut album.

"Champagne Supernova" is a song by English rock band Oasis, written by Noel Gallagher. It was released as a single in non UK countries in 1996 and it is the final track on the band's second album (What's the Story) Morning Glory?. The Jam frontman Paul Weller appears as a guest guitarist and backing vocalist on the track. A music video for the song, directed by Nigel Dick, was released in 1996. The single was not released in the UK.
"Bachelorette" is a song by Björk, released as the second single from her 1997 album Homogenic. Released on 8 December 1997, the song was originally written for a film by Bernardo Bertolucci, but the project was withdrawn. The lyrics for "Bachelorette" were written by Sjón, a friend and collaborator of the singer. The music video was noted for its surrealistic art direction, leading to a win at the 1998 MTV Video Music Awards.
"Freak Like Me" is the debut single by American R&B singer Adina Howard. It was released on January 25, 1995, as the lead single from her debut album, Do You Wanna Ride?. It reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks, as well as number two on the Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart for four weeks, behind "This Is How We Do It" by Montell Jordan in both cases, and was certified platinum by the RIAA for sales of one million copies.

"In My Lifetime" is the debut single by Jay-Z. It is produced by Ski and contains samples from "Oh Baby" by Aretha Franklin and two Soul II Soul songs: "Back to Life " and "Get a Life". The original version of the single was sold by Jay-Z and his friend Damon Dash out of Dash's car in 1993. It was released by Payday Records, but Jay-Z had royalty conflicts with his label and soon decided to start Roc-A-Fella Records to release his material. The single features a remix by Big Jaz and the b-side, "Can't Get Wid That" produced by Clark Kent. The song is not featured on either of Jay-Z's first two albums, but the Big Jaz remix is featured on the Streets Is Watching soundtrack.

The song was digitally released on April 15, 2008 after originally being scheduled for March 25. According to Morissette, "'Underneath' is about how you can only change the world after you change yourself."
"Not as We" is a 2008 song from Alanis Morissette's seventh studio album, Flavors of Entanglement. The song premiered on the American television series House in season 4 of episode 3, "97 Seconds". "Not as We" was remixed and released as the second single from Flavors of Entanglement in North America, while "In Praise of the Vulnerable Man" was released as the second single in Europe. The single was released to radio on October 13, 2008. On November 25, 2008 the Not as We (Remixes) EP was released in Canada. The EP includes the radio edit and six other remixes.
"Crying at the Discoteque" is a song performed by Swedish band Alcazar, from their debut studio album Casino (2000). It samples Sheila and B. Devotion's 1979 hit "Spacer". Alexander Bard produced this song and can be heard in the middle of this song. In 2001 the song became Alcazar's first international hit single, reaching number one in Hungary and the top 10 in Flanders, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and Switzerland. By the end of 2002, "Crying at the Discoteque" had sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide.
Cry for You – The Album is the debut studio album by Swedish singer September in the United Kingdom. The album was released on 2 August 2009, as a digital download. The album features the UK singles "Satellites", "Cry for You", "Can't Get Over" and "Until I Die". The album includes new versions of other songs from previous albums as well as new material.
"A Deeper Love" is a 1991 single written by Robert Clivillés and David Cole, and performed by Clivillés & Cole, featuring vocals by Deborah Cooper and Paul Pesco. The song was the duo's fifth number-one on the US dance chart. On other US charts, "A Deeper Love" peaked at number 83 on the soul singles chart and number 44 on the pop chart. Overseas, especially in Europe the single charted higher, going to number 15 in the UK and number 8 on the Dutch Top 40.
