We See Lights is a Scottish alternative indie pop band from Edinburgh, Scotland.
The band was started by Stephen James Bogle (vocals and guitar), Paul Dougall (vocals and guitar) and Allan Rae (vocal and guitar) in 2007. The band were originally called the Quiet Revolution. The Quiet Revolution gained members in January 2008 (Craig Ross on (bass/guitar), Ross Harvey (drums), Ciaran McGuigan (vocals) and Jonathan Lapsley (keyboard/vocals)) and soon became We See Lights. Ciaran McGuigan and Craig Ross left the band in March 2009. Paul Livingstone (bass) joined the band in January 2010.
The band recorded their first EP with Edinburgh producer Ric Rograss of the Depot Recording Studios. We See Lights played their first show at the Cabaret Voltaire on 24 January 2008. Some of the members of We See Lights were involved in establishing the Christmas Songwriters Club in 2008. In 2008, We See Lights won the BT National Battle of the Bands, [1] securing a main stage slot at the Isle of Wight Festival 2008 that year playing alongside The Police, The Kooks and James. In November 2008, the band received funding from the Scottish Arts Council (now known as Creative Scotland) to record their debut album, Ghosts & Monsters . The album was recording in a cottage near Fort William, Chem19 in Hamilton and the Depot in Edinburgh with Ric Rograss. The album was released in March 2010.
We See Lights have gone on to become a well established member of the indie folk scene in Scotland. They have played alongside Ra Ra Riot, [2] Eugene McGuinness, Plants & Animals, Frightened rabbit, [3] Coast, Iain Archer and We Were Promised Jetpacks. They have also played the Wychwood Festival, [4] T in the Park, the Isle of Wight Festival, the PRS stage at the Edinburgh Festival, the Edge Festival, [5] Canadian Music Week, GoNorth, RockNess, the Solas Festival, [6] and the Heb Celt Festival. [7]
In March 2011, the band released their EP Twee Love Pop on Edinburgh indie label Heroes and Gluepots. It received support from DJ's such as Lauren Laverne who played the track "My Oh My Oh My" on her BBC Radio 6 Music Show on 8 April 2011. [8] The band also did a session on BBC Radio Nan Gaidheal show "Rapal on 15 August 2011, [9] [10] featuring songs from the EP. In May 2012, the band released a single from their forthcoming album, the latter of which is yet to be released. In an interview given in December 2012, [11] band member Allan Rae suggested the album was nearing completion and would be entitled 'Bloody Twenties'. In July 2013, [12] the band also confirmed that they had featured on John D McIntosh's debut EP entitled You + Me =. On 31 March 2015, the band released their second album, Throw Your Arms Around Someone, You Will Each Weigh a Little Less. [13] The release was followed by a series of videos which the band uploaded to their YouTube channel, [14] including a re-mixed version of "Run Away My Love" [15] by the Edinburgh-based band, Homework.
Switchfoot is an American rock band from San Diego, California. The band's members are Jon Foreman, Tim Foreman, Chad Butler, and Jerome Fontamillas. After early successes in the Christian rock scene, Switchfoot first gained mainstream recognition with the inclusion of four of their songs in the 2002 movie A Walk to Remember. This recognition led to their major label debut, The Beautiful Letdown, which was released in 2003 and featured the hits "Meant to Live" and "Dare You to Move". The album sold over 2.6 million copies. They have since been noted for their energetic live shows, and their seventh studio album Hello Hurricane received a Grammy award in 2011 for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album.
The Jesus Lizard is an American rock band formed in 1987 in Austin, Texas and based in Chicago, Illinois. They were "a leading noise rock band in the American independent underground…[who] turned out a series of independent records filled with scathing, disembowelling, guitar-driven pseudo-industrial noise, all of which received positive reviews in underground music publications and heavy college-radio play."

"Summertime Blues" is a song co-written and recorded by American rock artist Eddie Cochran. It was written by Cochran and his manager Jerry Capehart. Originally a single B-side, it was released in August 1958 and peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 on September 29, 1958, and number 18 on the UK Singles Chart. It has been covered by many artists, including being a number-one hit for country music artist Alan Jackson, and scoring notable hits in versions by Blue Cheer, the Who and Brian Setzer, the last of whom recorded his version for the 1987 film La Bamba, in which he portrayed Cochran. Jimi Hendrix performed it in concert. T. Rex recorded their own rendition of the song for their self-titled debut album T. Rex in 1970 and performed it live.
Metronomy are a British electronic music group formed in 1999. As the band consists of Joseph Mount, Oscar Cash, Anna Prior, Olugbenga Adelekan and Michael Lovett. Their music consists of vocal and instrumental electronic pop music. Mount also releases remixes under the name Metronomy, and has remixed many artists including Gorillaz, Sebastien Tellier, Roots Manuva, Franz Ferdinand, Klaxons, Goldfrapp, Young Knives, Zero 7, Ladytron, Kate Nash, Lady Gaga and Lykke Li.
Los Campesinos! are a seven-piece indie pop band from Cardiff, Wales, formed in early 2006 at Cardiff University. The band has seen several lineup changes - Gareth Paisey, Neil Turner (guitar) and Tom Bromley (guitar) are the only remaining original members, now joined by Rob Taylor (guitar), Kim Paisey, Matt Fidler and Jason Adelinia (drums). All replace their surnames with "Campesinos!" as stage names.
Hadouken! were a British band formed in London in 2006 by singer, songwriter and producer James Smith and synth player Alice Spooner along with guitarist Daniel "Pilau" Rice, bassist Christopher Purcell and drummer Nick Rice. The band took its name from the special attack of the same name from the Street Fighter video game series. It was in Leeds that Hadouken! began their own record label, Surface Noise Records.

Black Tide was an American heavy metal band from Kendall, Florida. Formed in 2004, the band last consisted of Gabriel Garcia, Austin Diaz and Cody Paige (drums). They released their debut album, Light from Above, on March 18, 2008 through Interscope Records when Garcia was 15 years old. Their second album, Post Mortem, was released on August 23, 2011. Black Tide's EP Bite the Bullet was released on November 12, 2013 by InnerCat Music Group, a Miami-based boutique label. On October 16, 2015 band released their last album Chasing Shadows. On July 22, 2016 Garcia announced on his Instagram that the band is over and he is concentrating on his solo project.

Little Doses are a Scottish alternative rock band from Edinburgh, Scotland, who were formed in 2006. The band comprises lead vocalist Kirsten Ross, Mark McClelland on bass guitar, Michael Branagh on drums and backing vocals, Chris Alderson and Mike Skinner on guitar. They released their debut album, Rock Riot Soul on McClelland's Black Ditto Recordings label in March 2012.

City Lights was an American pop punk band from Columbus, Ohio, formed in 2008. They released two EPs and two studio albums during their six-year tenure; the latest being The Way Things Should Be, released on December 10, 2013, via InVogue Records. The band signed to InVogue in May 2011. The band announced their dissolution on February 13, 2014. One year later on February 13, 2015, they released a third EP titled Acoustic EP 2. They announced that they had no intention of getting back together but if schedules permitted they would still take part in shows and put out music.
Live at the Isle of Wight Festival is a live concert video by the British rock band Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, filmed at the 2004 Isle of Wight Festival, and released on DVD in 2005. It is the band's third filmed concert release, and first such release on DVD.
