Welcome to the Other Side is the 15th studio album by the German heavy metal band Rage. It was released in February 2001 by GUN Records. It is considered a concept album revolving around "the journey of a soul after death". [1] It's the first album composed with Smolski and Terrana, who joined the band during the last album cycle, Ghosts, when the album itself was already composed by the previous lineup and in recording stage.

Contents

"Straight to Hell" has been featured in the 2001 German Western parody film Der Schuh des Manitu .

It features a variable collection of "All Stars" much in the same vein as Roadrunner United. The whole album was written by Victor Smolski, who also recorded all the guitars, some bass and keyboards. Despite being composed with the same line-up as their three last studio albums, the musicians appearing inside the album lyrics leaflet are Victor Smolski and Mike Terrana, who joined the band when Fischer and the Efthimiadis brothers left the band during the recording. Smolski and Terrana became official members, joining Peavy Wagner for the tour following the release.
