Lake Pleasant is located in the Adirondack Park in New York in the United States. The lake is in the town of Lake Pleasant in Hamilton County.
Indian Lake is a 12-mile (19 km) long, 4,255-acre (1,722 ha) reservoir with a southwest to northeast orientation in the towns of Indian Lake and Lake Pleasant in Hamilton County, in the Adirondack Park of New York State, in the United States. The hamlet of Indian Lake is located 2 miles (3.2 km) north of the north end of Indian Lake. New York State Route 30 runs along the west shore of the lake. Most of the shore is part of the Forest Preserve. Indian Lake is fed by the Jessup River, and drains through the Indian River into Lake Abanakee, and from there through the Indian River to the Hudson River.
Sacandaga Lake (sa-kuhn-DAH-ga) is located in the Town of Lake Pleasant in Hamilton County, New York approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) west of Speculator. The outlet is a channel that leads to Lake Pleasant, which is the source of the Sacandaga River.
East Caroga Lake is located in the Town of Caroga by Caroga Lake, New York. The lake provides excellent warm water fishing and rainbow trout fishing. The lake is connected to West Caroga Lake by a small channel. Origin of the name, "Caroga" is derived from the once nearby Indian Village known as "Caroga".
West Caroga Lake is located in the Town of Caroga by Caroga Lake, New York. The lake is known for excellent warm water fishing, but it also offers the only location to fish for splake in the county. The lake is connected to East Caroga Lake by a small channel. Origin of the name, "Caroga" is derived from the once nearby Indian Village known as "Caroga".
Canada Lake is located in the Town of Caroga in Fulton County in the U.S. state of New York. Unlike the nearby Caroga lakes, Canada Lake is very deep which provides colder water for species such as trout to survive. There is an annual draw down on the lake by way of a control structure on the outlet of Stewart Landing. The impoundment of this water has created a lake complex of Lily Lake, Canada Lake, West Lake and Green Lake.
North Lake is a lake located by Atwell, New York and is the source of the Black River. North Lake is one of several lakes in Herkimer County that has a medium acid content, and is therefore not a big fish producer. The fish species present are tiger muskie, white sucker, perch, and bullhead. Boating is permitted, limited to a small gravel based boat launch in Atwell.
Chub Lake is located west of Raquette Lake, New York. Fish species present in the lake are black bullhead, and brook trout. There is trail access on the south and west shore from the north shore of Constable Pond. No motors are allowed on Chub Lake.
South Lake is located west of Sled Harbor, New York. Fish species present in the lake are brook trout, black bullhead, and white sucker. There is trail access on the southeast shore. No motors are allowed on this lake. South Lake is one of three of the West Canada Lakes that are the source of West Canada Creek.
Cedar Lake is located northwest of Sled Harbor, New York. Fish species present in the lake are brook trout, black bullhead, and white sucker. There is trail access on the north and west shores from Sled Harbor. There is also trail access to Whitney Lake. No motors are allowed on this lake.
Whitney Lake is located west of Sled Harbor, New York. Fish species present in the lake are brook trout, and black bullhead. There is trail access on the east shore from Cedar Lake. No motors are allowed on this lake.
G Lake is located west of Higgins Bay, New York. Fish species present in the lake are brook trout, and brown trout. There is carry down off trail from G Lake Road along the west shore. The name is derived from the shape of the body of water, which forms something that resembles a letter “G".
Fall Lake is located north of Piseco, New York. Fish species present in the lake are rock bass, white sucker, black bullhead, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, and pickerel. There is carry down access on Fall Stream off Old Piseco Road on land owned by the Irondequoit Club.
Garnet Lake is located south of the hamlet of Garnet Lake, New York. Fish species present in the lake are pickerel, largemouth bass, yellow perch, and brown bullhead. There is carry down on a trail off Maxam Road on the east shore.
Middle Stoner Lake is an oligotrophic lake that is located north of Canada Lake, New York. It is one of three lakes that make up the Stoner Lake system. Fish species present in the lake are pickerel, black bullhead, largemouth bass, yellow perch, and sunfish. There is carry down access at the bridge off NY-10 on the north shore.
Green Lake is located east of Canada Lake, New York. Fish species present in the lake are pickerel, black bullhead, rock bass, yellow perch, and pumpkinseed sunfish. There is access by trail off Green Lake Road along the west shore. It is also accessible by a channel from Canada Lake on the southwest corner.
Lily Lake is located in Fulton County in the U.S. state of New York. It is located southwest of the hamlet of Canada Lake. Fish species present in the lake are northern pike, largemouth bass, black bullhead, rock bass, yellow perch, and pumpkinseed sunfish. There is access via Sprite Creek from Canada Lake.
Trout Lake is located south of Averys Place, New York. Fish species present in the lake are pickerel, white sucker, yellow perch, and brown bullhead. There is access by trail from County Route 10. No motors are allowed on the lake.
Woods Lake is located east of Upper Benson, New York. Fish species present in the lake are pickerel, smallmouth bass, largemouth base yellow perch, pumpkinseed sunfish, and brown bullhead. There is access by trail from Benson Road on the west shore. No motors are allowed on this lake.
