Westgate, formerly Massey North is a suburb and commercial area in Auckland, New Zealand. [3]
Westgate is the name of a local shopping centre which was adopted over time as the name of the suburb. [3]
In 1999 the Waitakere City Council planned for a new town centre in Massey North. The council contributed towards the cost of roads and for a new library and public square.
