The Westshore Wolves are a junior ice hockey team based in Colwood, British Columbia, Canada. They are a member of the South Division of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League (VIJHL). The Wolves entered the VIJHL in 2012, replacing a former franchise, the Westshore Stingers. They play their home games at The Q Centre under head coach Brian Passmore. They are the official farm team of the Langley Rivermen.
The Wolves were one of two expansion teams in the 2012-13 VIJHL season, the other being the Nanaimo Buccaneers. In three seasons, the Wolves have done relatively well, finishing top three in their division every year. As with many expansion franchises, they have slowly gained momentum and become a strong team within a few years.. [1]
In 2024, the VIJHL announced that it would withdraw from the Hockey Canada framework and operate as an independent farm league for the BCHL beginning in the 2024–25 BCHL season. [2] [3] Soon thereafter, the Westshore Wolves became the farm team of the Langley Rivermen. [4]

The British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) is an independent Canadian Junior ice hockey league with 21 teams in British Columbia and Alberta. It was classified as a Junior "A" league, the second tier for junior hockey within the Hockey Canada framework, until it became independent in 2023. Since becoming independent, the league characterizes itself simply as a Junior ice hockey league.

The Panthers play their home games at Panorama Recreation Centre. Coreen Zubersky is the team's president, Pete Zubersky is the general manager and Tyler Stanton is the head coach.

The Stingers played their home games at Bear Mountain Arena. John Butler-Smith was the team's last president and general manager; and Bryan Grant was the last coach.

They play in the North Division of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League. They were one of two expansion teams in 2012 in the VIJHL returning to the league after 30+ years, and play their home games at the Nanaimo Ice Centre.

The Langley Trappers are a Junior "A" ice hockey team based in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Harold Brittain Conference of the Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL). The Trappers play their home games at the George Preston Recreation Centre, sharing the arena with the Junior "A" Langley Rivermen. Brad Bakken is the team's president and head coach. Brad Bakken is also the general manager.
