Whoberley is a residential suburb of the City of Coventry in the West Midlands, England.

The population of the Coventry Ward at the 2011 census was 15,903. [1]

Situated approximately 2 miles to the west of the city centre, it borders Allesley and Allesley Park to the north, Lime Tree Park to the southwest, Chapelfields to the east and Mount Nod/Eastern Green to the west. Hearsall Common, in the district of Earlsdon, lies to the southeast.

Although it now experiences very little flooding, it was built on marshlands. However, due to urban growth, it is now an outer suburb of Coventry, south-west of the villages of Ansty and Shilton. Walsgrave on Sowe neighbours the Potters Green, Clifford Park, Woodway Park, Wyken, Henley Green and Mount Pleasant areas of Coventry, and is in the Henley ward of the city, although Walsgrave-on-Sowe was formerly in the Wyken Ward prior to ward changes made in 2003 by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE).

38–39 Bayley Lane

38–39 Bayley Lane is a former building, whose present-day site is accessible from the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum in Coventry, England. All that remains is the medieval undercroft, a fourteenth-century cellar that initially belonged to a wealthy merchant, who was a clothier. The undercroft is built with sandstone with a stone-ribbed vault for added security and strength. It is a Grade I listed building.
