Wilhelm Reichert (born 31 March 1896, date of death unknown) was a German rower. He competed in the men's eight event at the 1928 Summer Olympics. [1]

Wilhelm "Willi" Kuhweide is a former West German sailor. He competed in one-person dinghy at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics and 1963, 1966 and 1967 world championships and won on all occasions except in 1968. He then changed to two-person and three person keelboat events and won a bronze medal at the 1972 Olympics, placing sixth-eighth in 1976 and 1984; he missed the 1980 Moscow Games due to their boycott by West Germany.

The women's giant slalom at the 1956 Winter Olympics was held on 27 January in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. It was run on the Canalone run on Mount Tofana. The course was 1,366 metres (4,482 ft) long with a 408 metres (1,339 ft) vertical drop. There were 46 gates that the women had to navigate. Forty-four women from sixteen countries competed. German skier Ossi Reichert won the event while Austrians won silver and bronze.
