The Los Angeles Chargers are a professional American football team based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The Chargers compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the American Football Conference (AFC) West division, and play their home games at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, which they share with the Los Angeles Rams.

Jack Maylon Simpson was an American collegiate and Professional Football linebacker He played at the University of Mississippi and professionally in the American Football League for the Denver Broncos and the Oakland Raiders. He was drafted in 1958 by the NFL Washington Redskins, but did not play. He signed as a free agent with the AFL's Broncos in 1961. He was the defensive coordinator of the Houston Oilers in 1972
Bobby Allen Lane is a former American football linebacker who played in eight games over two seasons with the San Diego Chargers of the American Football League (AFL). He was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the eleventh round of the 1961 NFL Draft. He was also drafted by the Dallas Texans in the 20th round of the 1961 AFL Draft. Lane first enrolled at Cerritos College before transferring to Baylor University. He attended Bellflower High School in Bellflower, California.
Donald Clement Klosterman was one of professional football's most accomplished executives, building teams in three different leagues after a serious accident ended his playing career as a quarterback and left his legs partially paralyzed. In the 1960s, Klosterman helped the American Football League overtake the NFL during the bidding wars that led the older league to seek a merger with the AFL. In the 1970s, he was a successful general manager for the NFL's Baltimore Colts and Los Angeles Rams, and in the 1980s he signed all-American quarterback Steve Young to a stunning contract for the Los Angeles Express in the United States Football League (USFL).

Charles Ross Coyle is a former American football player who played one season with the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Rams in the 20th round of the 1959 NFL Draft. He played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners of the University of Oklahoma and attended Marlow High School in Marlow, Oklahoma. Coyle was also a member of the Toronto Argonauts and Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League.
Randy Richards is a former professional Canadian football offensive lineman for the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He made his professional debut in 2015 with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and won his first Grey Cup championship with the Calgary Stampeders in 2018. Richards has also been a member of the San Diego Chargers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Toronto Argonauts and the Edmonton Football Team. He played college football for the Missouri State Bears and the College of the Sequoias.
