The 15th Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. [1] Located in southeastern Wisconsin, the district comprises part of eastern Waukesha County. It contains all of the city of Pewaukee, and the village of Pewaukee, alongwith most of the city of Brookfield, and part of the city of Waukesha. The district also contains Waukesha County Technical College, Brookfield Square mall, and Capitol Airport. [2] The district is represented by Republican Dave Maxey, since January 2023. [3]

The 15th Assembly district is located within Wisconsin's 5th Senate district, along with the 13th and 14th Assembly districts. [4]

It includes the cities of Berlin, Green Lake, Markesan, Montello, Princeton, and Ripon. The district also contains Fox River National Wildlife Refuge, Summerton Bog, Ripon College and the historic Little White Schoolhouse in Ripon—the birthplace of the Republican Party. The district is represented by Republican Mark Born, since January 2013. After the 2024 redistricting, Born no longer resides in the new district.

Located in southern Wisconsin, the district comprises part of southern Dane County, including the cities of Fitchburg and Stoughton, and part of the village of McFarland. The district also contains Lake Kegonsa State Park. The seat is represented by Democrat Jimmy P. Anderson since January 2017. District 47 is often used as one of the more extreme examples of Gerrymandering in the Wisconsin Legislature with the boundaries being compared to "swiss cheese".
