Wishingbone is the sister album to Subtle's first album A New White . It contains remixes and new material with other artists, including Mike Patton, Beck, and Andrew Border of Fog. Included with Wishingbone is a DVD including the videos for "F.K.O.", "The Long Vein of the Law" and "Swanmeat". All the videos on the DVD were animated by a group called SSSR. Several of the tracks originally appeared on the "F.K.O." and "The Long Vein of The Law" EPs.

Subtle was an alternative hip hop sextet from Oakland, California. It consisted of Adam Drucker (Doseone), Jeffrey Logan (Jel), Dax Pierson, Jordan Dalrymple, Alexander Kort, and Marty Dowers. The band was formed in 2001. While considered by the artists to be "genreless", Subtle had close ties to the hip hop and indie music scene.

A New White is the first studio album by American hip hop sextet Subtle. It was released on Lex Records in 2004. "F.K.O." and "The Long Vein of the Law" were released as singles from the album. The album peaked at number 55 on the CMJ Top 200 chart, as well as number 10 on CMJ's RPM chart.

Mike Patton American singer

Michael Allan Patton is an American musician, singer, songwriter, actor, record producer, multi-instrumentalist and film composer, best known as the lead vocalist of the alternative metal band Faith No More. Patton is also the founder and lead singer of Mr. Bungle, and has played with Tomahawk, Fantômas, Dead Cross, Lovage, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and Peeping Tom.

"Mic Drop" is a song recorded by South Korean boy group BTS for their fifth extended play Love Yourself: Her (2017). The song was first released by Big Hit as a B-track on September 18, 2017, in South Korea. The song was remixed by American DJ Steve Aoki featuring rapper Desiigner and was released to American contemporary hit radio as a single. The remix by Aoki was released with a music video.
