Wisk'achani (Aymara wisk'acha a rodent, [2] -ni a suffix to indicate ownership, "the one with the viscacha", Hispanicized spelling Viscachani) is a 4,674-metre-high (15,335 ft) mountain in the Bolivian Andes. It is located in the La Paz Department, Inquisivi Province, Ichoca Municipality, and in the Loayza Province, Yaco Municipality. Wisk'achani is situated south-east of Caxata. [1] [3]

Aymara language native language in South America

Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.

Viscacha rodent

Viscachas or vizcachas are rodents of two genera in the family Chinchillidae. They are native to South America and look similar to, but are not closely related to rabbits. The viscacha looks much like a rabbit due to convergent evolution.

Wisk'achani is situated south-east of the mountain Wallatani of the Kimsa Crus mountain range and Wallatani Lake. The lakes Muyu Quta (Muyu Khota) and Wiska Quta (Wisca Khota) lie at its feet, south-east of it.

Kimsa Willk'i is situated south-east of the mountain Wisk'achani. The lakes Muyu Quta (Muyu Khota) and Wiska Quta (Wisca Khota) lie at its feet, north-west of it.

Wiskachani (Ingavi)

Wisk'achani is a 4,585-metre-high (15,043 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality, north-east of Ch'ama (Chama). Wisk'achani lies north of the mountain Imill Wawani, north-east of Jisk'a Sallalla and Sallalla and south-east of Q'ullq'uni. The river Wila Jaqhi Jahuira originates east of the mountain. It flows to the north-east.

Ch'utu Wankarani is a 4,475-metre-high (14,682 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality, northeast of Ch'ama (Chama). Ch'utu Wankarani lies northeast of Imill Wawani and Apachita and southeast of Jisk'a Sallalla and Wisk'achani. The Wila Jaqhi Jawira originates near Ch'utu Wankarani. It flows to the northeast.

Qullquni

Q'ullq'uni is a 4,570-metre-high (14,993 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality, north-east of Ch'ama (Chama). Q'ullq'uni lies north-west of the mountain Wisk'achani, north-east of the mountain Jisk'a Sallalla and east of the mountains Pukara and Wila Qullu.

Pukara (Jesús de Machaca)

Pukara is a 4,329-metre-high (14,203 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It lies in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality. Pukara is situated west of the mountain Q'ullq'uni and north-west of the mountains Wisk'achani and Jisk'a Sallalla. The Q'ullq'uni River (Khullkuni) flows along its slopes. It flows to the south as a tributary of Jach'a Jawira.

Wisk'achani is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Bolivian Andes, about 4,940-metre (16,207 ft) high. It is located in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, La Paz Municipality. Wisk'achani is situated north-west of the mountain Llamp'u. The lake Wisk'achani (Viscachani) lies at its feet, south-west of it.

Jach'a Jawira which later is named Q'ara Qullu and Waña Jawira is a Bolivian river in the La Paz Department and in the Oruro Department. Its waters flow towards Uru Uru Lake.
