Woodland High School is a public high school located in unincorporated Cowlitz County, Washington, with a Woodland postal address. It has approximately 700 students. It is a part of Woodland Public Schools.

In 2005 the district purchased a plot of land to build a new high school. [4] In 2007 the district received public comments recommending that it build a new high school building funded by a bond, with the expected amount of the bond being $50 million. [5] In January 2008 voters were offered a vote on the bond but they rejected it, so the district at the time proposed leasing the land for farmers. [4]
On August 31, 2015 Woodland High School moved from 757 Park Street ( 45°54′15″N122°44′54″W / 45.9042°N 122.7483°W ) to its newly constructed current location at 1500 Dike Access Road ( 45°55′46″N122°45′52″W / 45.9295°N 122.7644°W ).

Woodland participates in the Southwest Washington 2A Greater St. Helens League and a member of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA). School sponsored sports include; baseball, boys wrestling, cross country, football, basketball, golf, soccer, softball, track and volleyball.

Vashon Island High School (VHS) is a public high school located on Vashon Island, Washington. Vashon Island High School, a part of the Vashon Island School District, is the only high school to serve the island. VHS runs 9th through 12th grade. The school has only one language course available which is Spanish I and Spanish II. VHS puts on three plays a year within the three drama classes; Theater Arts I, II and Musical Theater. VHS also has a band which puts on three concerts, including a Christmas concert and a Pops concert. The band also competes at a band competition at Stadium High School. The school's athletic mascot is the Pirates.
R. A. Long High School is the oldest high school serving the city of Longview, Washington. A part of Longview Public Schools, it was erected in 1927, three years after the city of Longview was incorporated. The total student enrollment at the end of the 2015–2016 school year was 890. The school is named for the city's founder, Robert A. Long, a wealthy timber baron from Missouri. Their mascot, the Lumberjack, was so named due to the area's reliance on the timber industry. The female students and sports teams are referred to as "Lumberjills." The school is on the city Historical Register, with the following inscription:
"This school, a gift to the City of Longview by Robert A. Long, was designed by William B. Ittner. The two story Corinthian columns and clock tower dominates the Georgian Revival style. The 900-seat auditorium serves as an educational and cultural center. The building and grounds are listed on the National Register of Historic Places."
