The Work Label (stylized as The WORK Group) was an American record label. Its major album releases included Tidal (1996) by Fiona Apple and On the 6 (1999) by Jennifer Lopez.
In July 1999, founders Jeff Ayeroff and Jordan Harris left the label. [1] It was discontinued in 2000 when all the label's artists were moved to Epic Records.

Produced by Jon Brion, it was expected to be released in 2003 but was delayed several times by the record label without explanation, leading to speculation that a dispute had arisen over its commercial appeal.
