"Work It Out" is a song by American singer-songwriter Joe Jonas. It was released as the lead single from his upcoming second studio album, Music for People Who Believe in Love , on July 19, 2024. He released a remix of the song in collaboration with his band DNCE, as part of their short compilation playlist titled Music for People Who Believe in DNCE on September 20, 2024. He released a second remix in collaboration with his brother-in-law, American DJ Deleasa, on October 25, 2024.
On May 29, 2024, Jonas began teasing new solo material through TikTok, releasing the snippet of the song. [1] The singer revealed he was both "excited and emotional" to be sharing this new material, stating he got to work some of his favorite artists and producers. [2]
Following the release of the teases, the lyrics "even baddies get saddies", taken from "Work It Out", sparkled discussion amongst the media on the possible references to Joe and Sophie Turner's divorce. [3] Jonas explained that this single helped him find a "sense of belonging and security", which made the production time a lot quicker, with the song coming together in approximately one hour. [4]

Franklin Nathaniel Jonas is an American singer and former child actor.
Joseph Adam Jonas is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. He rose to fame as a member of the pop rock band the Jonas Brothers, alongside his brothers Kevin and Nick. The group released their debut studio album It's About Time through the Columbia label in 2006. After signing with Hollywood Records, the group released their self-titled second studio album in 2007, which became their breakthrough record. The band became prominent figures on the Disney Channel during this time, gaining a large following through the network: they appeared in the widely successful musical television film Camp Rock (2008) and its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010) as well as two of their own series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream (2008–2010) and Jonas (2009–2010).
DNCE was an American dance-rock band consisting of lead singer Joe Jonas, drummer Jack Lawless, and guitarist JinJoo Lee. Bassist and keyboardist Cole Whittle was a part of the band from when it started in 2015 to when it went on hiatus in 2018. DNCE's music is mainly dance-rock, dance-pop, pop rock, and funk-pop. The band signed with Republic Records, who gave them a record deal to release their debut single, "Cake by the Ocean", which was released on September 18, 2015. The song reached the top 10 on several charts, including on the US Billboard Hot 100, where it peaked at number nine. Their debut extended play (EP), Swaay, was released on October 23, 2015. Their self-titled debut studio album was released on November 18, 2016. Their second EP, People to People, was released on June 15, 2018. They were also nominated for Favorite New Artist for the 2016 Kids' Choice Awards and Best Song to Lip Sync and Best Anthem for the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards. The group performed at the 2017 Fashion Meets Music Festival. In February 2022, DNCE returned after their hiatus with a collaboration with Kygo titled "Dancing Feet". The band went back on hiatus in mid-2023.
