World Skill Center Bhubaneswar (also known as WSC Bhubaneswar) is proposed to be a 40-floor-tall building in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. [1] This will be the fifth World Trade Centre to be operationalized in India and the 344th in the world. It is developed by Populous (company). The center will consist of 200 room hotel, 50,000 sq ft of indoor exhibition hall, multipurpose convention hall to accommodate 4,000 delegates, small convertible meeting halls to host 12 to 16 events simultaneously, an open area to accommodate up to 25,000 people and an open amphitheater. [2] Upon completion, the World Trade Center Bhubaneswar will be the tallest building in Odisha. The Convention Center will be connected to all nearby hotels and the World Trade Center through a skywalk. [3] For now, the World Trade Center Bhubaneswar is functioning from IDCO Towers, in Janpath, Bhubaneswar.

XIM University is a Jesuit, Catholic university located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. It was authorized by the Odisha Legislative Assembly in 2013 making it the first Jesuit university in India. Drawing its legacy from Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar(XIMB), founded by the Jesuits in 1987, the university was facilitated by the Govt of Odisha in 2013 and went on to be called as XIM University with XIMB now being a constituent school offering only MBA-BM through XIM University. The other XIMB courses like HRM and RM are now continued by separate schools under XIM University. The sprawling XIM University campus is situated at Sundarpada jatani road near Jatani town in the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The Jesuits have more than 50 colleges and several hundred educational institutes in India but this is the first university they have founded in the country.

Utkal Invest Summit formerly known as Make in Odisha is an initiative launched by the Government of Odisha for industrial growth in the State. The major investors in the state are NTPC, MCL, SAIL, Tata Steel, TCS, Adani, JSPL, PPL, IOCL and many more. Over 80 companies investing and The state has received investment worth Rs 2,03,270 crore. Major investment sector are IT, fertiliser, petro chemicals, food processing, health, infrastructure, ESDM, metal and minerals, manufacturing, textiles and tourism. The Make in Odisha conclave happens bi-annually. There are two Make in Odisha conclaves completed with crores of investment proposals and the fifth edition might be held between late November to early December 2024 in new name as Utkal Invest Summit.

Sujeet Kumar is an Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party, representing Odisha in the Rajya Sabha. He previously served as a Member of Parliament representing the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) from April 2020 to September 2024. In addition to his political career, Kumar is a lawyer and a trained arbitrator, practicing in the Supreme Court of India, as well as in various High Courts and Tribunals. He has held several significant positions, including Chairman of the Committee on Petitions in the Rajya Sabha, where he was one of the youngest members to chair a Parliamentary Committee. Previously, he served as the Advisor to the Special Development Council (SDC) of the Government of Odisha, with a rank equivalent to Chief Secretary, and as the Special Secretary of the Odisha State Planning Board. These roles involved senior-level policy planning and development responsibilities within the state government.
