Xiumen Subdistrict (Chinese :休门街道) is a township-level division of Qiaodong District, Shijiazhuang, Hebei, China. [1]
Simplified Chinese characters are standardized Chinese characters prescribed in the Table of General Standard Chinese Characters for use in mainland China. Along with traditional Chinese characters, they are one of the two standard character sets of the contemporary Chinese written language. The government of the People's Republic of China in mainland China has promoted them for use in printing since the 1950s and 1960s to encourage literacy. Qiaodong District (simplified Chinese: 桥东区; traditional Chinese: 橋東區; pinyin: Qiáodōng Qū; literally: "East of the Bridge" is a former district of Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province in North China. The district was abolished in September 2014, and its administrative area was split and merged into Chang'an and Qiaoxi districts.
Shijiazhuang is the capital and largest city of North China's Hebei Province. Administratively a prefecture-level city, it is about 266 kilometres (165 mi) southwest of Beijing, and it administers eight districts, two county-level cities, and 12 counties.
