The promotion began in an attempt to show the Mexican fans the wrestling style that was practiced during the nineties in foreign promotions like FMW and ECW.[1]
The promotion was founded in 2001 and closed in 2005. However, the promotion was restarted in 2009.
History
X-LAW: Génesis
In 2000, Ocampo, who was then working for the magazine Luchas 2000, had a meeting with Antonio Peña, the owner of AAA, to show him a project to form a hardcore stable within the company,[1] knowing that Paul Heyman had offered Peña the opportunity to acquire shares of ECW[1] (which at that time was in financial troubles[2]), which would have given the rights to create an "ECW Mexico" group in AAA.

Given the refusal of Peña, Ocampo and fellow journalist Manuel Flores began to work on creating their own promotion, raising money for months. In December 2000, both traveled to Tijuana to signing several luchadores with experience in hardcore wrestling, like Damian 666, Halloween and Nicho el Millonario.[3] The venue chosen to debut the new promotion was El Toreo de Cuatro Caminos, a bullring that for more than two decades host the shows of UWA.
Ocampo and Flores also signed ECW wrestlers Super Crazy, Nova and Yoshihiro Tajiri (who was about to start working for WWE[4]), and former ECW stars Sabu and Juventud Guerrera. X-LAW also established ties with Último Dragón promotion Toryumon, booking for the show almost all his students at the time, who then integrated Toryumon 2000 Project (T2P). Another working relationship started with International Wrestling Association from Puerto Rico. IWA promoter Víctor Quiñones travel to Mexico with then IWA Heavyweight Champion Ricky Banderas and taped many segments for his IWA TV show.[5] Two main events were announced: Hijo del Santo vs. Perro Aguayo, and Sabu vs. Damián 666 in a match for the XPW Heavyweight Championship. The card also featured the first ever ladder match in Mexico, with Rey Misterio, Sr. and Halloween vs. El Mosco and Depredador. The show was heavily promoted in Luchas 2000 magazine and in other publications like La Afición newspaper[6][7] and the Tijuana based Frontera daily[8] The show was held on March 4, 2001 gathering a crowd of 7000 people.[9][10]
X-LAW: LAW AND disORDER
After Génesis, Ocampo and Flores planned a second show in El Toreo headlined by a mask vs. hair match between Hijo del Santo and Perro Aguayo, but the idea was scrapped due to the forced retirement of Aguayo after a similar match between him and Universo 2000 in the Arena Mexico.[11]

Instead of run Toreo again, a tour was prepared, which was originally called SIEGE, but was renamed LAW AND disORDER.[3] The tour has four dates: Tulancingo, Aguascalientes, Tultitlán and Tlalnepantla. Originally, the entire roster of Genesis was contemplated, but was reduced, although they added two wrestlers from the Philadelphia-based promotion Combat Zone Wrestling: John Zandig and Wifebeater. During this tour the company crowned its first Tag Team Champions when, in a rematch from the precedent ladder match, El Mosco and Depredador beat Rey Misterio, Sr. and Halloween. One day later, in Tlalnepantla, the new champions defended successfully the belts against El Dólar & El Duende, but were challenged by Damián and Halloween. In the same show, the match take place, being won by the members of La Familia de Tijuana.[3] On June 17, 2001, the last day of the tour, Sabu pinned Nosawa in a deathmatch.[12]
X-LAW XMAS
On December 16, 2001, was held the X-LAW XMAS show in Unidad Deportiva Javier Rojo Gómez, Tulancingo. In that show, X-LAW crowned its first Jr. Heavyweight Champion in a ladder three-way dance where the winner would take the belt, while the two losers would face in a lucha de apuestas match. The competitors were Crazy Boy, Brazo de Plata Jr. and Pirata Morgan, Jr. The winner was Brazo de Plata Jr., so he was awarded with the belt.[13] In the apuestas match, Crazy Boy shaved the Pirate, then bet his mask against Brazo de Plata's belt. The new champion agreed, and right there start the match, which was won by Crazy Boy.
Francisco Islas Rueda, better known by his ring name Super Crazy, is a Mexican luchador. In Mexico, Islas has worked for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) and made appearances for various independent promotions but is not currently associated with one specific Mexican promotion. As Super Crazy, Islas gained American exposure by working for Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) between 1998 and 2000 and for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) between 2005 and 2008. He has also toured Japan on several occasions, working for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), Pro Wrestling Zero-One (Zero-1), All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) and Pro Wrestling Noah.
José Delgado Saldaña is a Mexican professional wrestler best known by his ring name Mr. Águila in Mexican wrestling promotions CMLL and AAA. Outside Mexico, Saldaña is best known for his work as Essa Ríos in the WWF.
Dionicio Castellanos Torres is a Mexican professional wrestler, better known by the ring names Psicosis and Nicho el Millonario. He is best known for his appearances with the promotions Lucha Libre AAA World Wide, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and the World Wrestling Association, as well as his appearances in the United States with Extreme Championship Wrestling, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, and World Wrestling Entertainment. Championships held by Psicosis include the AAA World Tag Team Championship, WWA World Junior Light Heavyweight Championship, WWA World Welterweight Championship, and WWA World Trios Championship.
Adolfo Margarito Tapia Ibarra is a Mexican luchador enmascarado, who currently performs as L. A. Park for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) in Mexico and various other independent promotions in Mexico and the United States. He is best known throughout the world as La Parka, especially from his many years in the American World Championship Wrestling promotion. He has worked for every major and multiple minor wrestling promotion in Mexico, as well as participating on multiple wrestling tours in Japan. He is a three-time world heavyweight champion, having held the IWC World Heavyweight, IWC World Hardcore, and IWL World Heavyweight championships all once. He is also a two-time world tag team champion, having held the MLW World Tag Team Championship and the CMLL World Tag Team Championship each once.
Héctor Solano Segura was a Mexican professional wrestler, better known by the ring name Héctor Garza. During his career he worked for various major Mexican professional wrestling promotions such as Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Perros del Mal Producciones and, at the time of death, AAA. Garza also worked for several major promotions such as World Championship Wrestling (WCW), the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) in the United States.
Pedro Aguayo Ramírez was a Mexican professional wrestler and promoter who achieved fame in wrestling as Perro Aguayo Jr. or El Hijo del Perro Aguayo. He was the real-life son of lucha libre legend Perro Aguayo and not a storyline "Junior". Aguayo was best known as the leader of the Los Perros del Mal stable, which he started in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in mid-2004. The stable became a significant draw in Mexican professional wrestling, peaking during Aguayo's storyline rivalries with Místico and Héctor Garza. In October 2008, Aguayo left CMLL to start his own independent professional wrestling promotion Perros del Mal Producciones, built around members of his Los Perros del Mal stable. In June 2010, Aguayo returned to AAA after a seven-year absence to start an invasion storyline involving his stable.
Leonardo Carrera Gómez is a Mexican professional wrestler best known under the name Damián 666. He has worked for World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling (FMW), Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA), World Wrestling Association (WWA) and various promotions on the Mexican independent circuit, including Perros del Mal Producciones (PdM). Carrera also worked under the ring name Galaxy in WCW, a masked Luchador. Carrera often teams with Halloween, leading to the formation of the team "Mexico's Most Wanted", which has worked extensively in North America for such promotions as Xtreme Pro Wrestling (XPW) and Revolution Pro Wrestling (RPW). Carrera's son currently wrestles on the international independent circuit as Bestia 666.
Manuel Ortiz Partida is a Mexican retired professional wrestler, better known by the ring name Halloween. He is also known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling as Ciclope from 1996 to 1999.
Juan Carlos Baños is a Mexican professional wrestler or "Luchador" known as Lizmark Jr. or El Hijo de Lizmark. Baños previously worked for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and AAA. Lizmark Jr. works as a Rudo and has been a part of the Los Perros del Mal stable.
The World Wrestling Association (WWA) is a lucha libre promotion based in the Tijuana-area of Mexico. It was founded in 1986 by Benjamin Mora Jr.. It featured some of Mexico's best luchadores at the time, such as Rey Misterio Jr., La Parka and Juventud Guerrera, during the late 1980s and early 1990s and was also featured on American television via the Fox Sports en Español channel.
Los Perros del Mal was a Mexican Lucha libre wrestling group stable, originally competed in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and in Lucha Libre AAA World Wide (AAA). The name is a play on the name of the founder of the group, Perro Aguayo Jr. It was one of the main rudo (heel) stables in CMLL until October 2008, when Aguayo along with Mr. Águila and Damián 666 left the company to form Perros del Mal Producciones. The stable is a part of the new promotion, despite its namesake. Their motto is "Dios perdona, los Perros no". The group originally started under the name La Furia del Norte but evolved into Los Perros del Mal as wrestlers not from northern Mexico joined the group.
Juan Conrado Aguilar Jáuregui, better known by his ring name El Texano, was a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler. From the early 1970s to the early 2000s, he wrestled under masked and unmasked monikers for various promotions including Universal Wrestling Association (UWA), World Wrestling Council (WWC), World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW), and World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). His son Juan Aguilar Leos wrestles under the name El Texano, Jr. in tribute to his father and another son wrestles as the masked Super Nova.
Andrés Reyes González was a Mexican professional wrestler, or luchador, who was best known under the ring name Universo 2000. Reyes made his professional wrestling debut in 1985 and worked for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) and, International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG). Reyes was a part of a wrestling family that includes his brothers Carmelo and Jesús as well as his nephew who wrestles under the name Máscara Año 2000 Jr. Together with his brothers he formed a group called Los Hermanos Dinamita, also known as Los Capos when they teamed up with Apolo Dantés. Reyes was the only three-time CMLL World Heavyweight Champion in the history of the championship. He was originally an Enmascarado, a masked wrestler, but lost his mask in a match against El Canek on September 17, 2004.
Súper Nova is the ring name of a Mexican luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler for his time working for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) as Bengala. Super Nova is the son of Luchador El Texano and the brother of El Texano, Jr. in addition to being the cousin of another Luchador called Mictlán. Súper Nova's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. Only his paternal and maternal surnames are a matter of public record, Aguilar Leos, as his brother's real name, Juan Aguilar Leos, is publicly known.
Homenaje a Dos Leyendas (2005) was a professional wrestling supercard show event, scripted and produced by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. The Dos Leyendas show took place on March 18, 2005 in CMLL's main venue, Arena México, Mexico City, Mexico. The event was to honor and remember CMLL founder Salvador Lutteroth, who died in March 1987. For the first time in the history of the Dos Leyendas show series, CMLL did not pay homage to El Santo but instead honored wrestling legend Perro Aguayo, who came out of retirement to compete in the main event of the show. This was the sixth March show held under the Homenaje a Dos Leyendas name, having previously been known as Homenaje a Salvador Lutteroth from 1996 to 1998.
Perros del Mal Producciones, often referred to as just 'Perros del Mal', was a Mexican professional wrestling promotion founded in October 2007 by Perro Aguayo, Jr. when he left Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and became inactive around 2015. The promotion shared a name with Aguayo, Jr.'s wrestling stable (group) Los Perros del Mal and the stable is the main Rudo (villain) group in the promotion. The promotion had an "open door policy" which meant they did not generally have wrestlers under contract but hired them on a per appearance basis. Perros del Mal was also a booking agency, responsible for hiring the core Perros del Mal group and others to various independent promotions all over Mexico.
Psycho Clown is the ring name of a Mexican luchadorenmascarado, or masked professional wrestler currently signed to Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). Psycho Clown's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from wrestling fans. Part of the Alvarado wrestling family, he is the son of José Alvarado Nieves, who wrestled under the ring name Brazo de Plata, and has previously worked as Brazo de Plata Jr. in tribute to his father. His siblings, Máximo, Goya Kong, Andros de Plata, and Muñeca de Plata are also professional wrestlers
Juan Francisco Domínguez is a Mexican luchador or professional wrestler, currently performing under the ring name X-Fly. He is also known as the original Mosco de la Merced, a name which has since been given another luchador. He is best known for his stints with the AAA promotion, the latest while representing Los Perros del Mal.
Homenaje a Dos Leyendas is the collective name of a series of annual lucha libre major shows promoted by Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). The show started out as Homenaje a Salvador Lutteroth, honoring CMLL founder Salvador Lutteroth, it would later honor Lutteroth and El Santo until 2005 where the event would honor Lutteroth and a different retired or deceased luchador each year. CMLL has held a total of 27 Homenaje events, starting in 1996 and one each year since then. The shows are usually main evented by a Lucha de Apuestas or "Bet match" where competitors wager either their wrestling mask or hair on the outcome of the match.
