The Parliament of India is the supreme legislative body of the Republic of India. It is a bicameral legislature composed of the president of India and two houses:the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha. The president in his role as head of the legislature has full powers to summon and prorogue either house of Parliament or to dissolve the Lok Sabha. The president can exercise these powers only upon the advice of the prime minister and his Union Council of Ministers.

The Vice Chief of the Air Staff (VCAS) is the deputy to the Chief of the Air Staff of India and second-highest ranking officer of the Indian Air Force. The VCAS is a PSO at Air Headquarters at New Delhi. In the event that the Chief of Air Staff (CAS) is absent or is unable to perform his duties,the VCAS assumes the duties and responsibilities of the CAS. The VCAS is normally held by an officer of three star rank and is held by an air officer of the rank of Air Marshal.

The Ambedkar cartoon is an issue that rocked the Parliament of India on 11 May 2012. Both the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha were adjourned on that day due to the ruckus created by the opposing parties. The issue was taken up by Thirumavalavan,an MP from the state of Tamil Nadu. He put the issue to parliament,but was at first denied permission to speak about it. He then showed a copy of the controversial cartoon that allegedly insulted the Chairman of the Drafting Committee of the Constitution of India,Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.

He also introduced,Solan No. 1 and Golden Eagle,two popular liquor brands,besides Old Monk. He was the mayor of Lucknow for two terms and served as a member of Rajya Sabha. The Government of India awarded him the Padma Shri,the fourth highest civilian award,in 1967. He received the Padma Bhushan,the third highest civilian award,in 1971.
Amar Patnaik is a former Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) officer under the Controller &Auditor General (CAG) of India and former Principal Accountant General (PAG) of Sikkim,Odisha,West Bengal,and Kerala. He opted for voluntary retirement,nine years before completion of his service and joined Biju Janata Dal in the presence of party president and CM Naveen Patnaik on 29 August 2018. Since 28 June 2019,he is the member of the Parliament of India representing Odisha in the Rajya Sabha and general secretary of the BJD Parliamentary Party office,the upper house. He heads the IT-Wing and is also a spokesperson of Biju Janata Dal.
National Medical Commission (NMC) is an Indian regulatory body of 33 members which regulates medical education and medical professionals. It replaced the Medical Council of India on 25 September 2020. The Commission grants recognition of medical qualifications,gives accreditation to medical schools,grants registration to medical practitioners,and monitors medical practice and assesses the medical infrastructure in India.
