The Oakland Tribune considers Petrus under Berrouet to be "arguably one of the world's most revered and most expensive wines." Gabriela Cámara is a Mexican chef, restaurant owner, and author. Born in Chihuahua City, Cámara grew up in Tepoztlán. In 1998, Cámara opened Contramar, a restaurant specializing in seafood, in Mexico City. She opened the restaurant Cala in San Francisco in 2015. Cámara holds ownership in Mexico City restaurants Capicúa, Barricuda Diner, and MeroToro. Her cookbook, My Mexico City Kitchen, was published in 2019, the year Cámara was appointed to the Mexican government's Council of Cultural Diplomacy and as an advisor to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
The Kincade Fire was a wildfire that burned in Sonoma County, California in the United States. The fire started northeast of Geyserville in The Geysers on 9:24 p.m. on October 23, 2019, and subsequently burned 77,758 acres (31,468 ha) until the fire was fully contained on November 6, 2019. The fire threatened over 90,000 structures and caused widespread evacuations throughout Sonoma County, including the communities of Geyserville, Healdsburg, Windsor, and Santa Rosa. The majority of Sonoma County and parts of Lake County were under evacuation warnings and orders. Lake county only had one evacuation order and that was the town of Middletown. The fire was the largest of the 2019 California wildfire season, and also the largest wildfire recorded in Sonoma County at the time before being surpassed by the LNU Lightning Complex fires in 2020.
The James H. Francis House in Calistoga, California was the single family home of James H. Francis and is currently used as a Bed and breakfast. It was built in 1886 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
