Yam Haus is an American indie pop-rock band with member Lars Pruitt (vocals), Jake Felstow (drums), and Zach Beinlich (bass). The band is currently signed to Big Loud Rock under Big Loud Records.
Yam Haus was formed in 2017 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Lars, Seth, and Zach all met at high school in Hudson, Wisconsin, and later met Jake in Minneapolis while he was attending college. [1] The band had started as a daily YouTube vlog to start building a fanbase. [2] The band's name “Yam Haus” stands for “You Are Me." Since their formation, Yam Haus have found themselves selling out shows across the Midwest, and they have been included on lineups such as First Avenue's "Best New Bands" of 2018; and the 2019 Cities 97.1 KTCZ. [2] Basilica Block Party. In 2023, the band performed at TC Summerfest, where they opened for The Killers and Death Cab for Cutie [3]
Their first single, "West Coast," was released April 13, 2018 as a precursor to their debut album, Stargazer. [4] In the winter of 2019 the quartet released their EP called Stargazer Sessions, which features acoustic versions of a number of songs from their debut album and "Spoke Too Soon". [5] [6] [7]
In preparation for their 2020 summer headlining tour the group released their second EP, The Band Is Gonna Make It, featuring their top track, "The Thrill" which was filmed at the popular theme park Valleyfair. The Band Is Gonna Make It Tour has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [2]
In the winter of 2020 Yam Haus released their first Christmas EP, A Very Yam Haus Christmas, featuring the track "Auld Lang Syne". [8] The song gained recognition as the video featured footage, filmed by Jay Christiansen, [9] [10] from the George Floyd protests in Minneapolis. [11] [12]
In 2022, Yam Haus was announced as one of the contestants on the American Song Contest on NBC. The TV program pitted bands representing every state and territory in the nation against each other to find America's top band, with Yam Haus representing Minnesota with the song "Ready to Go". [13]
In the summer of 2022, the band began recording tracks with mixer/producer Tony Hoffer which would become the bands’ next release, Stupid & Famous. [14]
In March 2023, Yam Haus signed with Big Loud Rock, the alternative/rock imprint of Big Loud Records. [15] In the Spring of 2023, the band embarked on a National Tour performing multiple dates with the band Landon Conrath followed by a Fall tour with the band Sawyer.
On August 11, 2023, the band released the final single ‘Shakin’ Yer Hips’ off their EP, Stupid & Famous, which was released on October 6, 2023
"Aegukga", often translated as "The Patriotic Song", is the national anthem of the Republic of Korea. It was adopted in 1948, the year the country was founded. Its music was composed in the 1930s and arranged most recently in 2018; its lyrics date back to the 1890s. The lyrics of "Aegukga" were originally set to the music of the Scottish song "Auld Lang Syne" before Ahn Eak-tai composed a unique melody specifically for it in 1936. Before the founding of South Korea, the song, set to the music of "Auld Lang Syne", was sung, as well when Korea was under Japanese rule by dissidents. The version set to the melody composed by Ahn Eak-tai was adopted as the national anthem of the Korean exile government, which existed during Korea's occupation by Japan from the early 1910s to the mid-1940s.
"Auld Lang Syne" is a popular song, particularly in the English-speaking world. Traditionally, it is sung to bid farewell to the old year at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve/Hogmanay. By extension, it is also often heard at funerals, graduations, and as a farewell or ending to other occasions; for instance, many branches of the Scouting movement use it to close jamborees and other functions.
Richard Paul Astley is an English singer who has been active in music for several decades. He gained worldwide fame in the 1980s, having multiple hits, including his signature songs "Together Forever", "Whenever You Need Somebody" and especially "Never Gonna Give You Up". He returned to music full-time in the 2000s after a 6-year hiatus. Outside his music career, Astley has occasionally worked as a radio DJ and a podcaster.
"Same Old Lang Syne" is a song written and recorded by Dan Fogelberg and released as a single in 1980. It was included on his 1981 album The Innocent Age. The song is an autobiographical narrative ballad told in the first person and tells the story of two long-ago romantic interests meeting by chance in a grocery store on Christmas Eve. The song peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is now frequently played during the holiday season and alongside traditional Christmas songs.

Crackers is a studio/compilation album by the British rock band Slade. It was released on 18 November 1985 and reached No. 34 in the UK charts. It was certified Gold by the BPI that same month. The album was produced by bassist Jim Lea except "All Join Hands", "Do You Believe in Miracles", "My Oh My" and "Run Runaway", which were all produced by John Punter. The album contained a mix of the band's previous hits, some re-recorded songs and a selection of covers.

Schmidt released his first album under the name And Then I Turned Seven in late 2003 and has since released 7 albums as well as numerous singles and EP's as Jamestown Story. As an A&R, Schmidt signed songwriters Jordan Schmidt, Zach Kale, along with artists Gabby Barrett, Mitchell Tenpenny, The Band Camino, Kameron Marlowe, and Adam Doleac. He now resides in Nashville, TN.

Merry Christmas II You is the thirteenth studio album and second Christmas album by American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey. It was released by Island Records on November 2, 2010. Recording began in April 2010 and continued while Carey became pregnant. She was the executive producer of Merry Christmas II You and worked with various record producers, including Bryan-Michael Cox, Jermaine Dupri, Randy Jackson, James Poyser, Marc Shaiman, James "Big Jim" Wright and Johnny "Sev" Severin of RedOne. "Auld Lang Syne (The New Year's Anthem)" is a song by American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey from her second Christmas album/thirteenth studio album, Merry Christmas II You (2010). The second single from the album, an extended play consisting of nine remixes was released by Island on December 14, 2010. Using the Robert Burns poem "Auld Lang Syne," Carey along with Randy Jackson and Johnny "Sev" Severin (of RedOne) composed a new arrangement, added lyrics and re-titled it. The track garnered a negative response from critics, all of whom disliked how Carey had changed the poem into a house song. An accompanying music video was released featuring a pregnant Carey singing in front of a background of exploding fireworks. "Auld Lang Syne (The New Year's Anthem)" charted on the lower regions of the South Korean international singles charts and at number nine on the US Holiday Digital Songs chart.
Like Moths to Flames is an American metalcore band from Columbus, Ohio, formed in 2010 by former members of various bands, including Emarosa, Agraceful, the Crimson Armada, TerraFirma, and My Ticket Home. The band has released four studio albums and three EPs through Rise Records. The band's current line-up consists of lead vocalist Chris Roetter, guitarist Zach Pishney, bassist Cody Cavanaugh, and drummer Roman Garcia. Roetter is the only member of the original line-up that remains in the band.
American a cappella group Pentatonix has released 11 studio albums, six compilation albums, six extended plays (EPs), 34 singles and 58 music videos. The group won the third season of The Sing-Off in 2011, and subsequently received a recording contract with Sony. In June 2012, Pentatonix released their first extended play, PTX, Volume 1 through Sony-owned independent record label Madison Gate Records. The EP debuted at number 14 on the US Billboard 200, selling 18,401 copies in its first week of sales. A Christmas EP, PTXmas, was released in November 2012. It was re-released in November 2013 with one of its new tracks, "Little Drummer Boy", debuting at number 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and charting in other countries such as Austria, Canada and New Zealand. The EP became the sixth highest-selling Christmas album of 2013, selling over 168,000 copies. In November 2013, Pentatonix released their third EP, PTX, Vol. II which debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200, selling 31,000 copies in its first week of sales.

I Dont Know How But They Found Me, often shortened to IDKHow, is an American indie pop solo project based in Salt Lake City, Utah, fronted by lead vocalist and bassist Dallon Weekes. It was originally formed as a musical duo in 2016 consisting of Weekes and drummer Ryan Seaman, former members of the Salt Lake City band The Brobecks, until the latter's departure in 2023. Before signing with Fearless Records, the duo was described as "the hottest unsigned band in the world" on the cover of Rock Sound in March 2018.

Tilly Birds is an alternative rock band formed in Bangkok, Thailand, by lead vocalist Anuroth Ketlekha (Third) and guitarist Nutdanai Chuchat (Billy). They have been a trio with drummer Thuwanon Tantiwattanaworakul (Milo). The band's early releases were independent. Hard Skool is a single and the fourth extended play by the American hard rock band Guns N' Roses. The single was released on September 24, 2021, with the EP following on January 28, 2022. The EP consists of two recent singles and two live tracks, and is their first EP release with guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan since they rejoined the band in 2016.
Blue Christmas is the twentieth studio and first Christmas album by Scottish Australian musician Jimmy Barnes, released on 25 November 2022 through Bloodlines. Speaking on his motivations to release a Christmas album, in a press statement, Barnes said, "One of the greatest surprises I ever got from our children was when they all snuck away into the garage and secretly recorded themselves singing carols for me. On Christmas morning, when I awoke, they proudly gave me the recording and sat eagerly waiting for me to listen to it. That year I received lots of great gifts from various family members, but that recording had me weeping like a baby. It was the most beautiful gift I ever got. This album is my gift back to the kids, the grandkids and everyone out there who just wants to sit and sing with their family on Christmas.
