Yannick Lupien (born February 21, 1980 [1] in Laval, Quebec, Canada) is a former freestyle swimmer who represented Canada at the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics. His best Olympic result was sixth place as a member of the Canadian team in the 4x100-metre medley relay in Sydney in 2000. Originally from Aylmer, Quebec, in 2012 Lupien began a career as a professional firefighter in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. [2] [3]

Stade Quillorama is a stadium in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. It is primarily used for baseball and is the home of the Trois-Rivières Aigles of the Frontier League. It was the home of the Trois-Rivières Saints of the Canadian Baseball League in 2003. The ballpark has a seating capacity of 4,000 and standing room which can accommodate an additional 500. It was opened in 1938, and it is also the home of Aigles Junior de Trois-Rivières of the Ligue de Baseball Junior Élite du Québec. The stadium name changed from Stade Fernand-Bédard to Stade Stereo+ on June 22, 2016. The change to Stade Quillorama was announced in December 2019. Quillorama is a large bowling centre in Trois-Rivières.

Trois-Rivières Attak was a Canadian soccer team that played three seasons in the Canadian Soccer League. They formally served as a reserve and academy team for the USL First Division side Montreal Impact. The club was an instant success within the league, winning titles in all three seasons when it competed in the CSL. In 2010, when the Montreal Impact founded their own academy the team ceased operating as a farm team, because of the ended cooperation with the Impact; they announced that they would take a one-year absence from the Canadian Soccer League in 2010 and return for the 2011 season. The team did not return for the 2011 season.

Gilles Courteau is a Canadian ice hockey administrator who has served as the president of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) since 1986, and is also a vice-president of the Canadian Hockey League. During his tenure as president, the QMJHL has expanded from 10 teams in Quebec only, to 18 teams and now includes Atlantic Canada. He implemented English as the language of instruction, and maintains the need for the league to provide education and player assistance. Courteau previously worked for the Trois-Rivières Draveurs, the Quebec Remparts, the Quebec Nordiques, and was inducted into the Hockey Québec Hall of Fame in 2016.

Germaine Beaulieu is a Canadian poet and novelist, who has lived in Montreal since 1966. It was in 1977 that she began writing. She wrote the novel Sortie d'elle (s) mutante and fourteen anthologies such as, Repères du silence (2013) and Miroir du levant (2011). She also has published a series of postcards that illustrate poems from her collection, De l'Absence à volonté (1996). Many of her texts have appeared in various journals like Exit, Arcade, L'Estuaire, and La Nouvelle Barre du jour. Although her work is primarily in French, some of her writings have been translated into English. Some of these writings have been published in the journal Dandelion. Germaine Beaulieu is also a psychologist.

The Trois-Rivières Lions are a professional minor league ice hockey team in the ECHL based in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. They are affiliated with the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League and Laval Rocket of the American Hockey League.

Luc Tardif is a Canadian-born French ice hockey executive, and former professional ice hockey player. A native of Trois-Rivières, Quebec, he played in the Quebec Junior A Hockey League and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, then was an all-star player for the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. During his professional career in France, he acquired French citizenship, won two Nationale A League titles, and won the Charles Ramsay Trophy four times with Chamonix HC as the league's top scorer. Later in his career, he was a player-coach for the Dragons de Rouen, then served as the team's vice-president and oversaw the youth hockey program.
