Yasmin Monet Prince (born 1999/2000) is a British actress.

Early life

Prince grew up in Sydenham, South London. She joined the youth company at Shakespeare's Globe, and attended the BRIT School. [1]

Career

Prince made her screen debut in the 2016 Mahalia Belo TV film Ellen for Channel 4. The film was well revived and won a 2017 British Academy Television Craft Award in the best breakthrough talent category for Bello. [2]

Prince had a recurring role as Clara Mahan in Amazon Studios’ action series Hanna alongside Esme Creed-Miles and Dermot Mulroney, with her character being promoted to a series regular in season two. [3] [4]

In 2020, Prince appeared in Unsaid Stories, opposite Nicholas Pinnock and was named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow. [5]

In 2021, Prince played Alison in the British romantic comedy film Boxing Day . [6] In 2022 she was cast in the film Portraits of Dangerous Women, alongside Tara Fitzgerald. [7] As of 2023, she plays Ruth in the Sky Max comedy drama Then You Run . [8]

Then You Run is a British-German thriller, dark comedy television series based on the novel You (2014) by Zoran Drvenkar, adapted by Ben Chanan for Sky Max. The eight-episode series premiered on 7 July 2023. It depicts four English high school friends on summer vacation: Tara, "Stink", Ruth and Nessi. They flee from Tara's uncle Reagan after she killed her father Orin and stole his heroin. They are pursued across Europe from Rotterdam to Hamburg and then to Norway. The series is directed by Robert McKillop, Delyth Thomas and Paul Walker, with scripts written by Chanan, Fintan Ryan, Nyla Levy and Catherine Moulton.
