Ysabel Maria Jorge Zamora-Jornada [1] (born June 8, 1983) [2] is a Filipina politician who is the Representative of the San Juan's lone District since 2022.

Education

Zamora graduated at the University of the Philippines Diliman where she obtained a political science undergraduate degree. She also got her law degree from the same university. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2009. [1]

Career

Prior to entering politics, Zamora was a partner at Zamora Poblador Law Office. Her focus was civil and family law, corporate law, and criminal law. She also headed the Congressional District Office of Ronaldo Zamora, her father. [1]

Zamora ran for the position of San Juan, Metro Manila's lone District in the 2022 election beating outgoing vice mayor Jana Ejercito. [1] She ran under the PDP–Laban where she held the position of treasurer within the party. [3] She switched parties in November 2024, joining Lakas–CMD. [4]

Personal life

Zamora is married to fellow lawyer Ryan Rene Jornada, with whom she has a son. [1]

Zamora is the daughter of former Executive Secretary Ronaldo Zamora. [5] Her family is currently governing City of San Juan, with her father as its former representative of its lone congressional district, half-brother Francis Zamora as its incumbent mayor. Her younger sister Pammy is a representative of the 2nd congressional district of neighboring city of Taguig.
