Zawad made his List A debut for Gulshan Cricket Club in the 2024–25 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League on 3 March 2025. [6]
He was picked by Sylhet Strikers for the 2025 Bangladesh Premier League. [7]
Zawad was part of the Bangladesh U-19 squad that won the 2024 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup. [8] [9]
In 2025, Zawad scored two centuries in a five-match series against Sri Lanka U-19. [10] [11]
In 2026, he was chosen as the vice-captain for Bangladesh U-19 at the 2026 Under-19 Men's Cricket World Cup. [12] [13]
