The Bangladesh Premier League 2025, also known as Dutch-Bangla Bank BPL T20 2025 for sponsor reasons, [1] will be the eleventh season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), a top-level professional Twenty20 cricket league in Bangladesh which is organized by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). [2] The tournament is scheduled to begin on 30 December 2024 and will end on 7 February 2025.
The 2025 season will clash with the Big Bash League, SA20, Super Smash and International League T20. [3] There were uncertainties in this season after a change of government in Bangladesh, since a few of the franchises may not be available in this season due to the aftermath of that incident. [4]
In September 2024, the ownership rights of the Dhaka franchise were acquired by Shakib Khan's Remark-Herlan Group. [5] Later on, its name was changed into Dhaka Capitals. [6] [7] Comilla Victorians was replaced by Durbar Rajshahi. [8] Chattogram Challengers was renamed as Chittagong Kings.

The official theme of BPL 2025 is "Esho Desh Bodlai, Prithibi Bodlai" which means "Let's change the country, change the world".
The theme mainly recognizes the Anti-discrimination Students Movement which had occurred in July 2024 & also manifests the changing Bangladesh.
The theme song of BPL 2025 is 'Elo BPL' composed by Bangladeshi singer Muza featuring Raef al Hasan Rafa & rapper Hannan Hossain Shimul. [14]
The mascot of BPL 2025 is 'Dana 36'. [15]
'Dana 36' is a peace beloved Pigeon which has 36 feathers. The number 36 also refers to July 36 of Bangladesh.

He is known for his aggressive left-handed batting style in the middle order and controlled slow left-arm orthodox bowling. He is widely regarded as the greatest Bangladeshi sportsman and one of the greatest all-rounders of all time.

The season was scheduled to start from March 2021. However, the tournament was postponed and rescheduled to be held from 21 January to 18 February 2022.
The Bangladesh Premier League 2023, also known as BPL Season 9 or Ispahani BPL 2023 Powered by Minister Group was the ninth season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the top-level professional Twenty20 cricket league in Bangladesh, organized by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). In July 2022, after the International Cricket Council accommodated the month of January and February for this league in its Future Tours Programme, the BCB announced the schedule of the BPL for the next three seasons. BCB also decided to increase the number of teams to 7 and to sell the franchise rights for 3 years from this season.
