Ripon Mondol (born 21 March 2003) is a Bangladeshi cricketer, who is right arm medium bowler. [1] He plays for Dhaka Division cricket team in domestic cricket. He made his international debut for Bangladesh cricket team in 2023. [2]

Early career

In December 2021, he was named in Bangladesh's squad for the 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. [3] He took 14 wickets in that tournament, [4] and was named in the ICC's Most Valuable Team of the Tournament. [5]

Domestic career

He made his List A debut on 15 March 2022, for Shinepukur Cricket Club in the 2021–22 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League. [6] He was named as the player of the match in the match against Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club on 2 April 2022. [7] He made his first-class debut on 10 October 2022, for Dhaka Division in the 2022–23 National Cricket League. [8]

In November 2022, he was selected to play for Rangpur Riders following the players' draft in the 2022–23 Bangladesh Premier League. [9] He made his Twenty20 debut on 8 February 2023, for Rangpur Riders in that tournament. [10]

International career

In September 2023, he was selected to play for Bangladesh in the 2023 Asian Games. [11] He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for Bangladesh on 4 October 2023, against Malaysia. [12]

The Bangladesh Premier League 2015, also known as BPL Season 3 or BRB Cables BPL 2015, was the third season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), a twenty20 cricket league established by the Bangladesh Cricket Board in 2012. The tournament featured six teams during the third season. The season began on Friday, 20 November 2015, with a lavish opening ceremony held at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, and the annual kickoff game was held between Chittagong Vikings and Rangpur Riders, which resulted with the Rangpur winning by two wickets in last ball finish.

The Bangladesh Premier League 2019, also known as BPL Season 6 or UCB BPL 2019 Powered by TVS, was the sixth season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the top level professional Twenty20 cricket franchise league in Bangladesh. The competition was organised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), featuring seven teams from seven cities. Teams are restricted to having four overseas players per side, instead of five in the previous edition of the tournament. Rangpur Riders were the defending champions.

The Bangladesh Premier League 2023, also known as BPL Season 9 or Ispahani BPL 2023 Powered by Minister Group was the ninth season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the top-level professional Twenty20 cricket league in Bangladesh, organized by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). In July 2022, after the International Cricket Council accommodated the month of January and February for this league in its Future Tours Programme, the BCB announced the schedule of the BPL for the next three seasons. Accordingly, the ninth season was scheduled to be held from 5 January to 16 February in 2023. BCB also decided to increase the number of teams to 7 and to sell the franchise rights for 3 years from this season.

Gazi Mohammad Tahjibul Islam is a Bangladeshi cricketer, who is a right-handed batter and a wicket-keeper. He started playing cricket at the age of 6, and later received training from the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan.
