Al-Amin Hossain (born 27 December 1992 [1] ) is a Bangladeshi international cricketer. He made his international debut for the Bangladesh cricket team in February 2014 [2]
Hossain was born on 27 December 1992 and bred in Jhenidah district and He attended University of Rajshahi. [3]
He took 12 wickets for Khulna and helped them defeat Chittagong by eight wickets in Jessore in 2011. He first ripped through the Chittagong lower order in the first innings,in which they scored just 200 runs,before leaving an even bigger impression in the second innings. Al-Amin finished with 7 for 36 in the second innings,with Chittagong getting bowled out for 144 runs.
He took figures of 9 for 58,helping Khulna kick off the second phase of the National League with an eight-wicket win over Rajshahi in a low-scoring encounter that lasted just two days at the Fatullah Osmani Stadium in Fatullah.
In 2012,he was selected to Bangladesh "A" squad to play against England Lions. In the first unofficial ODI he took the wickets of Joe Root,James Taylor and James Vince as England Lions were reduced to 38 for 4.
In 2013,he took 6 for 16 for Abahani Limited as they rolled over Cricket Coaching School for a paltry 35 to record a 212-run win in the Dhaka Premier League. He was in the forefront of all the carnage as he picked up all of the top five batsmen inside the first 11 overs.
In October 2018,he was named in the squad for the Sylhet Sixers team,following the draft for the 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League. [4] He was the leading wicket-taker for Khulna Division in the 2018–19 National Cricket League,with fourteen dismissals in five matches. [5] In November 2019,he was selected to play for the Cumilla Warriors in the 2019–20 Bangladesh Premier League. [6]
In November 2021,he was selected to play for the Colombo Stars following the players' draft for the 2021 Lanka Premier League. [7]
He was added to Bangladesh Test squad for New Zealand series and he made his Test début in Mirpur Test. He was selected in the 15-man squad to play in the 2015 Cricket World Cup,but was sent home during the tournament for breaking a team curfew. [8]
Shahadat Hossain is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He made his Test debut in 2005 during Bangladesh's first tour of England. When he came onto the international scene he was cited by then coach Dav Whatmore as the fastest bowler in the team. The following year,Hossain made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Kenya. At times Hossain has struggled with conceding too many runs,and for that reason was dropped in 2009. In November 2010,Hossain was a member of the squad that won Bangladesh's first gold in any event at the Asian Games. A broken toe prevented Hossain from playing for Bangladesh in July 2011,but after more than a year since his last Test he returned to the squad in October that year. In November 2019,he was given a five-year ban from cricket,after assaulting a teammate. He made history being the first Bangladeshi to take a hat-trick in the ODI format.
Mohammad Mahmudullah Riyad,also known as Riyad,is a Bangladeshi cricketer and former T20I captain. He plays for Dhaka Division and has represented national team in all formats. An all-rounder,he is a lower or middle-order batter as well as an off spin bowler. He has scored more than 10,000 runs and taken 150+ wickets in international cricket. He is renowned for his ability to finish a close limited over game. He is the first Bangladeshi to score a World Cup hundred. Mahmudullah started his career as a bowler and then converted into a batsman who could bowl off-breaks.
Monir Hossain is a Bangladeshi cricketer who has played at first-class,List A and Twenty20 level. He is a left-handed batsman and slow left arm orthodox bowler. He has represented Barisal Division and Sylhet Division in First-class and List A cricket. He has played with Duronto Rajshahi and the Barisal Bulls in the Bangladesh Premier League.
Kamrul Islam Rabbi is a Bangladeshi cricketer who has played for Barisal Division from the 2008–09 season. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.
Mohammad Rubel Hossain is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He made his international debut in January 2009 aged 19. He has the highest bowling average of any pace bowler to have bowled at least 2,000 deliveries in Test cricket. He is a quick bowler with a slingy action similar to Lasith Malinga's. Hossain announced his retirement from Test cricket on 19 September 2022.

The competition was organised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB),featuring seven teams from seven cities. The 2013–14 Victory Day T20 Cup was a Twenty20 cricket competition that was held in Bangladesh. It was played by four teams,during December 2013. Four Dhaka Premier League teams took part in a lottery to determine who picked one each of the Yellow,Blue,Green and Red teams. Announcing the schedule of the tournament at a press conference on 21 December,the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed that four teams would participate in the T20 series and AMBER Group would be the title sponsors of the event.
