They are one of the two new teams going to participate in the 2025 Bangladesh Premier League changing their name from Chattogram Challengers to Chittagong Kings. [1] They are yet to win the title. Their best performance is reaching the final and being runners up in 2013 season.

There was a payment-related issue with Chittagong Kings, as some player's cheques were bounced back several times. However, their owner acknowledged the issue, stating that he was withholding payment due to lack of self-satisfaction. [4] [5]
The MA Aziz Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Chittagong, Bangladesh. The stadium currently operated by the Bangladesh Football Federation, predominantly hosts football matches and has previously been used by the Bangladesh national football team. Its total capacity is 30,000. On a historical note, it was used as headquarters during the 1971 Independence War. The stadium serves as the main football venue of Chittagong as the main cricket venue of the port city has been shifted to the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
