The 2025 season will be the eighth season for the Bangladesh Premier League franchise, Fortune Barishal. They were one of the seven teams participated in the 2024 Bangladesh Premier League. They are the defending champion of BPL having won the title in 2024. [1]

The 2025 season will be the seventh season for the Bangladesh Premier League franchise, Durbar Rajshahi. They last participated in the 2019-20 season as Rajshahi Royals and became the champion beating Khulna Tigers in the final. In 2024, the team was acquired by Valentine Group and named the team Durbar Rajshahi, following the exit of Comilla Victorians in 2025 Bangladesh Premier League.

The 2025 season is the 9th season so far for the Bangladesh Premier League franchise Rangpur Riders. They were one of the seven teams that participated in the 2024 Bangladesh Premier League. They won the title only a single time in 2017-18 season. This franchise is owned by Bashundhara Group.

The 2025 season is the 11th season so far for the Bangladesh Premier League franchise Dhaka Capitals. They were one of the seven teams that participated in the 2024 Bangladesh Premier League. This franchise has changed its name from Durdanto Dhaka to Dhaka Capitals and is now owned by the Champions Sports Ltd. Partnered with Shakib Khan & Remark HB Limited.
