Zeebratta is the debut album of Mike Score, the lead singer of A Flock of Seagulls. It was released on digital download on March 1, 2014, and later released on physical copies. Two singles were released from the album, "All I Wanna Do" and "Somebody Like You". [1] [2]
For the last 30 years, Score has been working on the album's songs. He had shelved his compositions that were not the band's style, and had enough for a solo album. Score had originally planned to release the solo album once the other members had left. When they were gone, however, A Flock of Seagulls were still in popular demand for live shows, so Score hired musicians for a new lineup. This new lineup recorded an album in 1995 entitled The Light at the End of the World , which flopped commercially. Even so, the band was still popular with fans, so Score continued to tour with the band, leaving little time for recording. [3]
In the late 2000s, Score gained more time to work on the album, and worked vigorously. By February 2013, he released the single "All I Wanna Do" (originally recorded in the mid-2000s for the compilation album Trackspotting V) with a music video to go along with it. There was also an announcement made stating that his album was coming soon. The release date was postponed, however, when Score's van was stolen in July. The van contained equipment and clothing, as well as the hard drives storing the tracks for Score's album. Fortunately, Score was able to work with music files from his home in Florida, and used them for his album. [1] [3]
In January 2014, Score released a second single entitled "Somebody Like You". On January 29, he revealed that the album would be released on March 1. [4] Score's website and Twitter account made it official on February 20. Zeebratta was officially released on March 1, 2014 (it was released to iTunes on March 3 due to a technical error). [1] [2]

Michael Kenji Shinoda is an American musician, rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and graphic designer. He co-founded the rock band Linkin Park in 1996 and is the band's co-lead vocalist, as well as rhythm guitarist, keyboardist, primary songwriter and producer. Shinoda later created a hip-hop-driven side project, Fort Minor, in 2004. He has also served as a producer for tracks and albums by artists such as Lupe Fiasco, Styles of Beyond, and the X-Ecutioners.
A Flock of Seagulls are an English new wave band formed in Liverpool in 1979. The group, whose best-known line-up comprised Mike Score, Ali Score, Frank Maudsley and Paul Reynolds, hit the peak of their chart success in the early 1980s.
The All-American Rejects are an American rock band from Stillwater, Oklahoma, formed in 1999. The band consists of lead vocalist and bassist Tyson Ritter, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Nick Wheeler, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Mike Kennerty, and drummer Chris Gaylor. Wheeler and Ritter serve as the band's songwriters; Wheeler is the primary composer and Ritter is the primary lyricist. It was released in 1982 as their third single and it was the second single from their self-titled debut album. It topped the chart in Australia, and reached number seven in New Zealand and number nine in the United States. It was not successful in Europe and only reached number 31 in Germany. In the band's home country of the United Kingdom it reached number 43. However, the song was certified silver by the BPI.
"I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)" is a song recorded by American singer Whitney Houston for her second studio album, Whitney (1987). It was released as the lead single from the album on April 28, 1987, by Arista Records. It was produced by Narada Michael Walden, and written by George Merrill and Shannon Rubicam, of the band Boy Meets Girl, who had previously collaborated with Houston on "How Will I Know". At the 30th Annual Grammy Awards, "I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)" won for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, marking Houston's second win in the category.
Chromatics were an American electronic music band from Portland, Oregon, formed in 2001. The band's final line-up consisted of Ruth Radelet, Adam Miller, Nat Walker, and Johnny Jewel. The band originally featured a trademark sound indebted to punk and lo-fi that was described as "noisy" and "chaotic". The song is about a man who hears voices in his head, who believes that he is being contacted by aliens from outer space, and who cannot run away from his emotions; wherever he goes, the voice is there.
"Space Age Love Song" is a 1982 single released by the British band A Flock of Seagulls. It was their fourth single. Lead guitarist Paul Reynolds remarked on their 1984 video album Through the Looking Glass that, as the band could not come up with a title for the track, he suggested "Space Age Love Song" because he thought it sounded like a space age love song. The song reached the top 30 in the UK and the US in June 1982 and February 1983 respectively.
The Score is an American alternative rock duo formed in New York City in 2011, now based in Los Angeles. The group consists of Eddie Anthony Ramirez and Edan Chai Dover. Chris Coombs and Logan Baldwin are touring members for the band. Taking One for the Team is the fifth studio album by Canadian rock band Simple Plan. It was released on February 19, 2016 through Atlantic Records and represents the band's first full-length record in nearly five years. Following the release of three buzz singles in mid-2015, the band released "I Don't Wanna Go to Bed" featuring American rapper Nelly as the official lead single for the album on October 16, 2015. It is the band's first album since 1984's The Story of a Young Heart that features all four original members. It contains 12 songs re-recorded with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. The album debuted and peaked at No. 8 on Billboard's Top Classical Albums chart for the week of 21 July 2018 and at No. 29 on the UK Independent Albums Chart for the week of 13 July 2018.
