Zelków [ˈzɛlkuf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Zabierzów, within Kraków County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of Zabierzów and 16 km (10 mi) north-west of the regional capital Kraków. Thus, its location and property values make it essentially one of the wealthier suburbs of Kraków. [1] The village is located in the historical region Galicia. [2]

There are several distinct neighborhoods in Zelków. Some of these include Gacki, Wyźrał, Łączki, and Widok.

In Zelków there is a sign commemorating the former border that existed between Russia and Austria. Zelków was in the Austrian part. It is located about 15 minutes from Ojców National Park.

Ojców National Park is a national park in Kraków County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship in southern Poland, established in 1956. It takes its name from the village of Ojców, where it also has its headquarters. Chopin visited Ojców in 1829.

The village remains small, with a population of 590, mainly due to its isolation and poor farming environment. Nevertheless, Zelków is connected to Kraków by public transit (Bus 242) and minivans ("bus" in Polish).
