Zhang Bowen (born 28 April 1996) is a Chinese sport shooter. He represented China at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, competing in the men's 10 m air pistol. [1] [2] He clinched three gold medals and a bronze at the 2023 ISSF World Championships. He also won a gold and a silver at the 2022 Asian Games. [3] [4]

She is the first woman to win a gold medal in shooting at the Asian Games for India – she won the gold at the 2018 Jakarta Palembang Asian Games in the women's 25 metre pistol event. She won two gold medals in 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, the first of the two golds in coming in the 25 metre pistol pair event with Anisa Sayyed. She had previously won gold in the 25 metre pistol event at the 2008 Youth Commonwealth Games, which were held in India.

Shooting competitions at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo were originally scheduled from 25 July to 3 August 2020, due to the postponement of the Summer Olympics to 2021, the rescheduled dates were on 24 July to 2 August 2021 at the Asaka Shooting Range. Unlike in 2016, the number of shooters competing across fifteen events at these Games had been reduced from 390 to 360, with an equal distribution between men and women. Furthermore, several significant changes were instituted in the Olympic shooting program, including the substitution of three male-only events, with the mixed team competitions.

Vitalina Igorevna Batsarashkina is a Russian sports shooter. She is a two-times Olympic champion and two-times Olympic silver medalist. At the 2020 Summer Olympics she became the first female shooter to win three medals at the same Olympic Games. At the previous Olympic Games she was placed second in 10 m air pistol. Besides that, she also won gold, silver and bronze medals at the 2018 World Championships. She is a Merited Master of Sports of Russia.

Seonaid McIntosh is a British sports shooter who became the World Champion at the 2018 ISSF World Shooting Championships in the 50m Prone Rifle event. In 2019 she became Britain's most successful female rifle shooter of all time, winning five World Cup medals. Bhaker won the bronze medal in the 10m pistol event at the 2024 Paris Olympics and became the first Indian woman shooter to win an Olympics medal. She won another bronze in the 10m pistol mixed team event, thus becoming the first Indian to win two medals in a single Olympic Games.
