Zhang Bowen (born 28 April 1996) is a Chinese sport shooter. He represented China at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, competing in the men's 10 m air pistol. [1] [2] He clinched three gold medals and a bronze at the 2023 ISSF World Championships. He also won a gold and a silver at the 2022 Asian Games. [3] [4]

She also won individual gold medals in 10 m air pistol event at 2017 European Championships, and 2015 and 2019 European Games.

Rahi Jeevan Sarnobat is a female athlete from India who competes in the 25 metre pistol shooting event. She won her first gold medal at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune, India. She is the first woman to win a gold medal in shooting at the Asian Games for India – she won the gold at the 2018 Jakarta Palembang Asian Games in the women's 25 metre pistol event. She won two gold medals in 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, the first of the two golds in coming in the 25 metre pistol pair event with Anisa Sayyed. She had previously won gold in the 25 metre pistol event at the 2008 Youth Commonwealth Games, which were held in India.

In 2014, Sidhu was the World record holder in the 10-metre air pistol event with a final score of 203.8. Sidhu is right handed and is right eye dominant.

Shooting competitions at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo were originally scheduled from 25 July to 3 August 2020, due to the postponement of the Summer Olympics to 2021, the rescheduled dates were on 24 July to 2 August 2021 at the Asaka Shooting Range. Unlike in 2016, the number of shooters competing across fifteen events at these Games had been reduced from 390 to 360, with an equal distribution between men and women. Furthermore, several significant changes were instituted in the Olympic shooting program, including the substitution of three male-only events, with the mixed team competitions.

Vladimir Nikolayevich Issachenko is a Kazakh sport shooter. He finished sixth in free pistol shooting at the 2004 Summer Olympics, and eventually won a bronze medal in the standard pistol at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. He is the only Indian shooter to win a gold medal in ISSF World Championship, ISSF World Cup, Youth Olympic Games, Asian Games and Asian Air Gun Championship. Esha Singh is an Indian amateur shooter, supported by OGQ. She became the national champion in the 10m Air Pistol category in 2018. She clinched an Olympic quota berth in the 10m Air Pistol category for the Paris Olympic Games at the Asian Qualifier at Jakarta on 8 January 2024. She was also conferred the Arjun Award for 2023 but missed the event on 9 January 2024 due to the Asian qualifier.
