Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd. is the fourth album by the Monkees. It was released on November 6, 1967, during a period when the band exerted more control over their music and performed many of the instruments themselves. However, although the group had complete artistic control over the proceedings, they invited more outside contributions than on their previous album, Headquarters, and used session musicians to complement their sound. The album also featured one of the first uses of the Moog synthesizer in popular music. Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd. sold over three million copies. It was the band's fourth consecutive album to reach No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200.

The album's title Vocalese refers to a style of music that sets lyrics to previously recorded jazz instrumental pieces. The vocals then reproduce the sound and feel of the original instrumentation. Jon Hendricks, proficient in this art, composed all of the lyrics for this album.
Leap of Faith is the seventh studio album by American singer-songwriter Kenny Loggins. The album was released on September 10, 1991, by Columbia Records. It was the first album Loggins released after a divorce, and is notably longer than his previous solo albums. Singles from the album included "The Real Thing," "If You Believe," "Now or Never," and "Conviction of the Heart," the latter of which was later dubbed "the unofficial anthem of the environmental movement" by Vice President Al Gore. "I Would Do Anything" features Sheryl Crow who can also be heard in the title song along with Smokey Robinson.

The album also contains several unreleased Beach Boys songs, including "Don't Fight the Sea", "Lookin' Down the Coast", "California Feelin'", and "And I Always Will." "Don't Fight the Sea" includes parts of a Beach Boys' recording, while "Lookin' Down the Coast", "California Feelin'", and "And I Always Will" are re-recordings. "Tidepool Interlude" features a spoken word piece written by former Beach Boys collaborator Stephen Kalinich and performed by actor Alec Baldwin.
