Zorro is a 1975 Hindi-language swashbuckler film directed by Shibu Mitra, starring Rekha, Navin Nischol as Zorro, [1] Danny Denzongpa and Bindu.
Maharaj Bahadur Singh falls in love with Parvati, gets intimate with her, resulting in her getting pregnant, but he is forced to marry a much wealthier woman. After giving birth to a son, Gunawar, Parvati disappears from Bahadur's life. Bahadur's wife also gives birth to a boy, Vikram, and compels her husband to make him the next Maharaj. Gunawar excels in swordplay, grows up, albeit a bit senile and childlike, while Vikram grows up arrogant, befriends Senapati Shamsher Singh, and both hope to take over the reins of this kingdom. When Bahadur opposes their sinister designs, Shamsher has him arrested and lodged in a dungeon. When Gunawar finds out that atrocities are carried out by Shamsher and Vikram, he dons a mask, calls himself Zorro, and comes to the rescue of Shamsher's victims. The wily Shamsher concocts a scheme with a convict, Sher Singh, to lure and kill Zorro. But Murphy's Law prevails, and Sher and Zorro become friends. But not for long as they are destined to become mortal enemies, especially after Sher finds out that Zorro is really Rajkumar Gunawar and is colluding with Shamsher to carry out atrocities on the villagers

Dharmatma is a 1975 Hindi thriller movie and the first Bollywood film to be shot in Afghanistan. It was produced and directed by Feroz Khan. The movie is the first attempt in India to localise The Godfather. The cast includes Feroz Khan, Hema Malini, Rekha, Premnath, Imtiaz Khan, Danny Denzongpa, Farida Jalal, Ranjeet, Helen, Madan Puri, Jeevan, Iftekhar, Dara Singh, Satyen Kappu and Sudhir. The music is by Kalyanji Anandji. This film took Feroz Khan to new heights in his career as this was a hit movie. The same year, Sholay and Deewar were released. The film also has scenes featuring Buzkashi, a Central Asian sport on horses, including aerial shots, which in turn won the film's cinematographer, Kamal Bose, the Filmfare Award for Best Cinematographer. Dharmatma's plot is loosely based on The Godfather and the character of Premnath was inspired by the life and times of the then king of Matka gambling, Ratan Khatri.

This movie features the unforgettable evergreen songs by Mohammed Rafi and Lata Mangeshkar under music direction of Madan Mohan, which turned out to be chartbusters. The most famous song in this film is "Tum Jo Mil Gaye Ho". The other song is a qawwali, "Yeh Mana Meri Jaan" whose tune has been remade numerous times. Madan Mohan produced one of the best works of his life for this feature film. "Tum Jo Mil Gaye Ho" was adjudged the third best hindi film song ever by a jury of eminent musicians for an Outlook magazine poll. The song is still a rage among youngsters and lovebirds. This movie collected Rs.72000 at capital cinema, which was a record back then and was declared a hit at the box office.
