Zulfiqar Naqvi, born in Gursai village in Mendhar Tehsil near LoC in District Poonch of Jammu and Kashmir. He is an Urdu poet [1] [2] and has authored Three Books, ZAAD-E-SAFAR in 2011, UJAALU'N KA SAFAR in 2013, DASHT-E-WAHSHAT in 2021.

He was the principal of Hawza-e-Ilmia Jamia-tus-Saqalain, Delhi and is the current chairman of Safinatul Hidaya Trust, India. He is the vice-President of All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat and member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board. Syed Aqeel is also a member of the Majma Jahani Ahlulbayt, Iran. Gharavi supervises PhD students at the Aligarh University, India. In addition to all of these, he also serves as patron of Imamia Islamic University, Delhi and secretary of Forum of Philosophers, India.

Syed Ali Ausat Zaidi was a renowned Urdu Soazkhawan. He was born in Meerut in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh in 1932 and died in Karachi, Pakistan in 2008. He hold the prestigious and eminent position of Soazkhawan for presenting soaz, salam and marsiya on Pakistan Television, Radio Pakistan, ARY Television Network, GEO TV, Indus TV and TV2Day for several years.

Tahir Naqvi, born Tahir Riza Naqvi in 1942 in India, is a Pakistani writer. He has been writing short stories since 1972. Several of his short stories have been translated into English and some regional languages. He has been praised by several writers for his short story work.

Composite Nationalism and Islam, titled Muttahida Qaumiyat Aur Islam is a book written in 1938 by Husain Ahmad Madani, the Dean of Darul Uloom Deoband, espousing composite nationalism—a united India for both Muslims and non-Muslims. The book opposed the partition of India and in it Madani advocated for "the ideal of a 'composite nationalism' within an united India, which he thought would be more conducive to the spread and prosperity of his community over the entire subcontinent than any religious partition."

Sahir Lakhnavi was a Pakistani classical Urdu poet and the 20th century's last marsiya writer of Pakistan. He wrote gazals, nazms, qataat-i-tareekh, particularly marsiya and qasida throughout his literary career. He wrote twenty books on multiple subjects, including linguistics, poetry, prosody, seerat, history, theology and tafseer. He also appears to have written to the Persian literature, but his primary contribution appears in Urdu.

Mohiuddin Nawab was a Pakistani novelist, screenwriter, and poet. He is famous for his popular novel series, "Devta" that was episodically and continuously published in Suspense Digest from February 1977 to January 2010. Devta is an autobiography of a fictional character, Farhad Ali Taimur, who is a master of telepathy and a womanizer.
Apart from Devta, Nawab wrote nearly 600 romantic, social, spy, and historical short/novel-length stories for renowned digests like, Jasoosi Digest, and Suspense Digest. Some of his notable stories include Kachra Ghar, Iman Ka Safar, Khali Seep, and Adha Chehra. A collection of his poetry and prose is published under the title, "Do Tara". Nawab also wrote scripts for a few movies including, "Jo Darr Gya Woh Marr Gya" (1995).

Odisha Urdu Academy, or Odisha Urdu Akademi, formerly Orissa Urdu Academy, is an academy and institution in Bhubaneswar, the capital of the Indian state of Odisha, focusing on the promotion, development, and preservation of the Urdu language, its tradition, and culture in Odisha. It was formed on February 7, 1987, under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. This academy is established under the Department of Odia Language, Literature, and Culture, Government of Odisha.
