Li Yundi is a Chinese concert pianist popularly known as Yundi and formerly Yundi Li. Li is most well known for being the youngest pianist, at the age of 18, to win the 2000 XIV International Chopin Piano Competition. He later served as the youngest juror in history for the competition in 2015.

Rebecca Penneys is an American-born pianist of Russian-Jewish descent. She is a recitalist, chamber musician, orchestral soloist, educator, and adjudicator. In 1965, she was the youngest contestant to have ever entered the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw, Poland: “A sensational effect was created by the playing of Rebecca Penneys. She is a genius of the piano.”
Ingolf Wunder is an Austrian classical pianist. In 2010, Wunder was the second prize winner at the XVI International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. He also won special prizes for best concerto, best Polonaise-Fantasie performance, and the public prize at the competition.

Described by The Globe and Mail as "arguably today's leading classical virtuoso" and by The Times as "without question the most astounding pianist of our age", Trifonov's honors include a Grammy Award win in 2018 and the Gramophone Classical Music Awards' Artist of the Year Award in 2016.
