Albert Ho Chun-yan is a solicitor and politician in Hong Kong. He is the former chairman (2014–2019) and vice-chair (2019–2021) of the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China, and former chairman of the Democratic Party from 2006 to 2012. He is a solicitor and a former member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong for District Council (Second) constituency.
The New Territories West geographical constituency was one of the geographical constituencies in the Legislative Council of Hong Kong from 1998 to 2021. It was established in 1998 for the first SAR Legislative Council election and was abolished under the 2021 overhaul of the Hong Kong electoral system. Located in the western part of the New Territories, it was the largest geographical constituency in Hong Kong with 1,308,081 electorates in 2020. It consisted of Tsuen Wan District, Kwai Tsing District, Tuen Mun District, Yuen Long District and Islands District. In the 2016 Legislative Council election, it elected nine members of the Legislative Council using the Hare quota of party-list proportional representation.

He was a key founder of the United Democrats of Hong Kong, a member of the Tuen Mun District Council, an elected member of the Regional Council and the youngest member of the Legislative Council to die in office. He supported the Tiananmen Square protesters in 1989, and is remembered for carrying a flag, leading a supporting crowd during the related protest in Hong Kong.
Lau Wong-fat, GBM, GBS, OBE, JP was a Hong Kong businessman and politician. He had been the long-time chairman of the Rural Council, the most powerful organ representing the interests of the New Territories indigenous inhabitants from 1980 to 2015. He was also a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong from 1985 to 2016. From 2009 to 2012 he was a non-official member of the Executive Council of Hong Kong. He had also served as the member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the Regional Council and the Tuen Mun District Council.

Tin King Estate is a public housing estate in Tuen Mun, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is the tenth public housing estate in Tuen Mun, located near Light Rail Tin King stop, Leung King stop and San Wai stop. It consists of four residential buildings completed in 1989. The estate was formerly the site of Leung Tin Village and it was named from the village, together with the nearby Leung King Estate. Some of the flats were sold under Tenants Purchase Scheme Phase 2 in 1999.

He is a former president of the Law Society of Hong Kong and chairman of the Tuen Mun Rural Committee and served as an elected member of the Tuen Mun District Council from 2015 to 2019.

As a Democratic Party member, Chan has been member of the Tuen Mun District Council from 1994 to 2015 and again from 2020 to 2021 for Siu Hong constituency and former member of the Regional Council.
