The 2024 season will be the Minnesota Vikings' 64th in the National Football League, their ninth playing their home games at U.S. Bank Stadium, their 20th under the ownership of Zygi Wilf and their third under the head coach/general manager tandem of Kevin O'Connell and Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. The Vikings are looking to improve on their 7–10 record from 2023 and return to the playoffs after a one-year absence.

Contents

This will be their first season since 2017 without quarterback Kirk Cousins on the roster, as he signed with the Atlanta Falcons in free agency.

Regular season

Schedule

The Vikings' schedule for the 2024 NFL season was announced on May 15, 2024. In addition to home and away matchups against each of their NFC North divisional rivals, they were also scheduled to play against each of the teams in the NFC West and AFC South, as well as the teams that also finished in third place in each of the NFC South, NFC East and AFC East. [3] [4] Their AFC East opponent, the New York Jets, will serve as the opposition for the Vikings' home game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, which is part of the NFL International Series. [5]

The Eagles started 8–0 for the first time in franchise history, before their winning streak was snapped with a 32–21 upset loss to the Washington Commanders in Week 10. The 2025 NFL draft will be the 90th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players. The draft is scheduled to be held around Lambeau Field and Titletown campus in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on April 24–26, 2025.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2023 Houston Texans season</span> 22nd season in franchise history

The 2023 season was the Houston Texans' 22nd season in the National Football League (NFL) and the first under head coach DeMeco Ryans. While the team went into the season with low expectations as a rebuilding period and started 0–2, they not only improved on their 3–13–1 record from last year with a Week 9 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but the Texans qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2019 with a win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 18, ending with a 10–7 record. After the Jacksonville Jaguars lost to the Tennessee Titans the day after, the Texans also clinched the AFC South for the first time since 2019. The Texans became the fifth team in NFL history to make the playoffs with both a rookie quarterback and a rookie head coach, as well as making history as the first team in NFL history to win a division entirely with a rookie head coach and rookie quarterback.

The 2024 season will be the Buffalo Bills' 55th in the National Football League, their 65th overall, their tenth full season under the ownership of Terry and Kim Pegula, and their eighth under the head coach/general manager tandem of Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane.
