The 2025 Omaha mayoral election will take place on May 15, 2025. The Republican incumbent mayor is Jean Stothert. [1] The position of mayor in Omaha is officially a non-partisan position and a blanket primary will be held on April 1, 2025. The top two finishers in the primary will move on to the general election which will be held on May 13, 2025. Stothert will be running for a record fourth term as Omaha mayor [2] .

Incumbent Republican mayor Jean Stothert is Mayor of Omaha after defeating RJ Neary with margin of 29.62% in 2021. The last Democratic Victory was the 2009 Omaha mayoral election by former mayor Jim Suttle.
