The European Rogaining Championships is an annual top level event to establish the European champions in rogaining. The championships are organised by a national rogaining association chosen by the European members of the International Rogaining Federation (IRF).
European championship rogaines are of 24 hours duration, and are conducted in accordance with the rogaining rules of the IRF. The team with the highest score in each of the three gender classes (Men's, Women's and Mixed teams) are declared the European Rogaining Champions. Within each gender class, all teams participate in the Open age category. Additionally, there are age sub-categories as follows: Youth (up to 23), Veteran (45 and over), Super Veteran (55 and over) and Ultra Veteran (65 and over). [1]

Since September 2021, the head coach is Alexei Zhamnov, who took over from Valeri Bragin.

Yelena Valeryevna Välbe is a Russian former cross-country skier. She won 14 gold medals at the FIS World Championships, including all five golds in the 1997 edition. The European Hockey Federation is a European sports federation for field hockey, based in Brussels. It is the umbrella organisation for all European national federations, and organises the Euro Hockey League. The president of the league is Marcos Hofmann. In reaction to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the European Hockey Federation banned the participation of all Russian and Belarusian athletes and officials from all events sanctioned by the Federation.

At 11th World Rogaining Championships in Alol, Pskov oblast Russia in 2013 they successfully defended the title of the World Rogaining Champion. At 12th World Rogaining Championships in Black Hills, South Dakota in 2014 they won the third consecutive title of World Rogaining Champions.

The 2003 European Winter Throwing Challenge was held on 1 and 2 March at Stadio Polivalente Gioia Tauro in Gioia Tauro, Italy. The 2023 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships was the 47th edition of the Ice Hockey World Junior Championship, held between December 26, 2022 and January 5, 2023. It was won by Canada, in overtime of the gold-medal game. Czechia won the silver, their first medal since 2005.
Conrrado Moscoso is a Bolivian racquetball player. He is the current International Racquetball Federation (IRF) Men's Singles World Champion, which he won at the 2022 Racquetball World Championships in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Moscoso is the first Bolivian and first South American man to win an IRF World Championship in singles. Moscoso is also the current two time Pan American Champion in Men's Singles as well as the Pan American Champion in Mixed Doubles. He also won gold in Men's Singles at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, as well as helping Bolivia to successfully defend the Men's Team gold medal they first won at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, which was the first gold medal won by Bolivia in any sport at the Pan American Games. Moscoso has also won multiple times on the International Racquetball Tour (IRT), including the 2022 US Open, and been in the IRT top 10 for four seasons beginning in 2019–20.
Robin Jäätma is an Estonian archer competing in compound events. He won the bronze medal in the men's individual compound event at the 2021 World Archery Championships held in Yankton, United States. He became the first archer to win a medal for Estonia in the history of the World Archery Championships.
