CBC Radio One is the English-language news and information radio network of the publicly owned Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. It is commercial-free and offers local and national programming. It is available on AM and FM to 98 percent of Canadians and overseas over the Internet, and through mobile apps. CBC Radio One is simulcast across Canada on Bell Satellite TV satellite channels 956 and 953, and Shaw Direct satellite channel 870.

CBC Music is a Canadian FM radio network operated by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. It used to concentrate on classical and jazz. In 2007 and 2008, the network transitioned towards a new "adult music" format with a variety of genres, with the classical genre generally restricted to midday hours. In 2009, Radio 2 averaged 2.1 million listeners weekly, and it was the second-largest radio network in Canada.

<i>The Vinyl Cafe</i> Canadian radio and podcast variety show

The Vinyl Cafe was an hour-long radio variety show hosted by Stuart McLean that was broadcast on CBC Radio and was syndicated to approximately 80 U.S. public radio stations through Public Radio International. It aired on Sunday at noon EST and Tuesday at 11:00 pm EST on CBC Radio One and Saturday at 9 am EST on CBC Radio 2. The program was also available as a CBC podcast, although the podcasts usually contained just McLean's stories and essays for studio episodes because of copyright restrictions on recorded music. CBC Radio also aired a separate weekday afternoon program, under the title Vinyl Cafe Stories, which consisted of two previously recorded Dave and Morley stories per episode.

Nouvelle Radio Jeune, is a private French radio station created by Jean-Paul Baudecroux and Max Guazzini in June 1981, and was widely popularized thanks to its godmother singer Dalida, who prevented it from closing in 1984. Vinyl Tap was a Canadian radio show hosted by Randy Bachman, musician alumnus of the famous Canadian rock bands The Guess Who and Bachman–Turner Overdrive. The show ran on CBC Radio from 2005 until 2021, when it was cancelled. A syndicated version aired on commercial radio from 2022 to 2023. A shorter podcast version was also available featuring Bachman's anecdotes.

Matt Galloway is a Canadian radio personality, who debuted in January 2020 as the host of The Current on CBC Radio One. Previously, he was the host of Metro Morning on the network's Toronto station CBLA-FM from 2010 to 2019. Galloway succeeded Andy Barrie as host of Metro Morning effective March 1, 2010. Galloway has also been heard nationally as a host of Canada Live and Podcast Playlist, and as an occasional guest host of The Current prior to his selection as the program's permanent host.

Mornings, titled Weekend Mornings on Saturday and Sunday, is the morning program on the CBC Music radio network in Canada. The program features a cross-genre selection of selected new and old Canadian and international singer/songwriter, rock and pop tracks. It also presents anecdotes, overnight news stories, and background information on the music.

Tom Power is a Canadian musician and broadcaster, best known as the host of Q on CBC Radio One, previously the host of Deep Roots and Radio 2 Morning on CBC Radio 2. In August 2016, he was named as the permanent new host of Q, succeeding Shad.

C'est formidable! is a Canadian radio show, which airs Sundays on CBC Music and Saturdays on CBC Radio One. Hosted by Florence Khoriaty, the program airs a selection of French language music from Quebec, France and other francophone countries for the English Canadian audience. The show is produced by Frank Opolko.
