Mississippi Highway 12 is a state highway in northern Mississippi that runs 198.7 miles (319.8 km) west–east from MS 1 west of Hollandale at the Mississippi River to State Route 18 at the Alabama state line northeast of Columbus. MS 12 traverses three major regions of the state, the Mississippi Delta, the North Central Hills, and the Golden Triangle.
Mississippi Highway 182 designates the old two-lane highway for U.S. Route 82 (US 82) where the current US 82 occupies a new right-of-way. Some of the towns with a segment of MS 182 are Winona, Kilmichael, Eupora, Mayhew, Starkville, and Columbus.
Mississippi Highway 50 is a state highway in Mississippi. It generally follows an east/west track for 60 miles (97 km) and runs from MS 9 in Walthall, Mississippi, east to the Alabama state line east of Columbus. MS 50 serves the following Mississippi counties: Lowndes, Clay, and Webster.
Mississippi Highway 145 (MS 145) is the designation for the parts of the old U.S. Route 45 (US 45) roadbed that the state continues to maintain or has designated. Those ten sections travel through Waynesboro, near Boice, through Shubuta, from De Soto to Meridian, through Shuqualak, through Macon, through Aberdeen, through Nettleton, from Shannon to Booneville, and through Corinth.
Mississippi Highway 3 is a north–south Mississippi state highway, located entirely within the Mississippi Delta region, running from Redwood to Lake Cormorant, both at an intersection with U.S. Route 61. For much of its duration, MS 3 is overlapped (concurrent) with U.S. Route 49W. It travels approximately 192 miles (309 km), serving DeSoto, Tunica, Tate, Panola, Quitman, Tallahatchie, Sunflower, Humphreys, Yazoo, and Warren counties.
Mississippi Highway 7 runs generally north–south from the Tennessee state line in Benton County to Belzoni, Mississippi. It travels approximately 168 miles (270 km), serving Humphreys, Leflore, Carroll, Grenada, Yalobusha, Lafayette, Marshall, and Benton counties while serving several points of interest, including Florewood River Plantation State Park, the University of Mississippi, and Wall Doxey State Park. MS 7 runs nearly parallel to the rarely used Mississippi Central Railroad.
Mississippi Highway 8 is an east–west state highway in northern Mississippi, running 168.1 miles (270.5 km) from MS 1 in Rosedale to U.S. Route 278 northeast of Aberdeen. Points of interest along the route include Great River Road State Park, Delta State University, Grenada Lake, Hugh White State Park, and the Natchez Trace Parkway.
Mississippi Highway 28 (MS 28) is a state highway in south-central Mississippi, United States, that runs east–west from U.S. Highway 84 (US 84) west of Laurel to US 61/MS 33 in Fayette. It travels approximately 126 miles (203 km), serving Jefferson, Copiah, Simpson, Smith, and Jones counties.
Mississippi Highway 43 is a state highway in Mississippi that generally runs north–south in three segments: the first from US 90 near Bay St. Louis to MS 13 south of Columbia, resuming at MS 13 in southern Jefferson Davis County to end near Mendenhall, and finally starting again at MS 18 near Puckett to end at Attala Road 3122 in northern Attala County. It traverses approximately 235 miles (378 km), serving Hancock, Pearl River, Marion, Jefferson Davis, Lawrence, Simpson, Rankin, Madison, Leake, and Attala counties.
U.S. Route 49E is an 89.6-mile-long (144.2 km) U.S. Highway in the Delta region of Mississippi. It travels through Yazoo, Holmes, Leflore, and Tallahatchie counties.
U.S. Route 49W is an 89.3-mile-long (143.7 km) U.S. Highway in the Delta region of Mississippi, passing through Yazoo, Humphreys, Sunflower, and Tallahatchie counties.
Mississippi Highway 35 is a state highway in Mississippi. It runs north–south for 274.7 miles (442.1 km), beginning at the Louisiana state line and ending at a junction with MS 315 at Sardis Dam. MS 35 serves the counties of Marion, Jefferson Davis, Covington, Smith, Scott, Leake, Attala, Carroll, Grenada, Tallahatchie, and Panola.

Mississippi Highway 311 is a state highway located in Marshall County, Mississippi, United States. The route runs 12.960 mi (20.857 km) from MS 7 in Holly Springs north to U.S. Route 72 in Mount Pleasant. The route is a two-lane undivided road its entire length and passes through rural areas. MS 311 was designated onto its current alignment in 1957, and was fully paved from a gravel road by the 1960s.
Mississippi Highway 198 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Mississippi. The highway is the designation for six former segments of U.S. Highway 98 that have been bypassed by newer alignments. These six segments are located in Tylertown, Columbia, Hattiesburg, Beaumont, McLain, and Lucedale. Five of the six sections of MS 198 are two-lane undivided roads that pass through small towns; the exception is the Hattiesburg section which is a four-lane divided highway running through developed areas of the city. The total length of the six sections of MS 198 is 24.937 miles (40.132 km).
Mississippi Highway 315 is a 80.4-mile-long (129.4 km) state highway located in northern Mississippi. The highway consists of two segments, one from MS 9W near Paris in Lafayette County to U.S. Route 278 (US 278) and MS 6 in Panola County, and another from US 278/MS 6 in Panola County to US 49/US 61 near Rich in Coahoma County. Along the way, the highway passes over Sardis Dam east of the town of Sardis. Though the two segments of MS 315 are signed north and south, they generally run in an east to westerly direction.
Mississippi Highway 178 (MS 178), or simply "Old 78", is a 119.1-mile-long (191.7 km) east-west state highway across the northern portion of the state of Mississippi. It is the former alignment of U.S. Route 78 (US 78), used from the 1940s until the 1990s. With the exception of a break at the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway in Fulton, MS 178 is a complete route from Memphis, Tennessee, to the Alabama state line.
Mississippi Highway 540 (MS 540) is a state highway through Simpson and Smith counties in central Mississippi. First created in 1958, the highway consists of two segments- one running about 10+1⁄2 miles (16.9 km) from Harrisville to D'Lo and a second 21.7-mile-long (34.9 km) road from Mendenhall to Raleigh.
