The Suez Canal University is an Egyptian public university serving the Suez Canal region. Its faculties are located in the three governorates of the Suez Canal Region (Port Said, Ismailia & Suez). It was established in 1974. It is well known for its non-traditional research. It has 48 faculties (16 in Ismaïlia, 13 in Port Said, 10 in Suez and 9 in Arish ^[5]) with a total number of students reaching 21,325.^[6]

Center of Open Education

The Center Of Open Education aims to provide an opportunity of continuing education for anyone who is holding a high school degree or a technical diploma and desires to raise/improve their educational and cultural level and obtain a bachelor's degree granted by the faculties which participate in center's program. The center also aims at granting various specializations to the bachelor's degree holders who want to have specialized degrees in the areas which are taught by the center.^[8]

Hospital

An accredited Suez Canal University Hospital provides evidence-based health care services that utilize top-notch technologies to serve the Egyptian community.^[9]

Faculty

The faculty aims to provide continuing professional development opportunities for faculty members and leaders at the university.^[10]

Technology Center

The Information and Communication Technology Center provides all the information about the university and its educational systems and the various details on programs of study at the various colleges.^[11]

Ismailia is a city in north-eastern Egypt. Situated on the west bank of the Suez Canal, it is the capital of the Ismailia Governorate. The city had an estimated population of about 430,000 in 2021. It is located approximately halfway between Port Said to the north and Suez to the south. The Canal widens at that point to include Lake Timsah, one of the Bitter Lakes linked by the Canal.

Ismailia Governorate is one of the Canal Zone governorates of Egypt. Located in the northeastern part of the country, its capital is the city of Ismailia. It was named after Ismail Pasha, who as Ottoman Viceroy of Egypt, oversaw the country during the building of the Suez Canal. It is located between the other two Canal governorates; Port Said Governorate, in the Northern part of Egypt and Suez Governorate.

The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) is a private university located in the capital city Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The university was established by the Foundation for the Development of Education in 2004–2005. IUS is open to students from all over the world, and the language of instruction and communication is English. It offers four year education according to Bologna system. Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata (Unika) or Soegijapranata Catholic University (SCU) is a leading Catholic institution with an institutional accreditation of A. It is located in the city of Semarang, Central Java and under the auspices of the Sandjojo Foundation which is affiliated with Archdiocese of Semarang. The university is a continuation of the Indonesian Catholic University of Atmajaya Semarang Branch, which was born in 1964 and later changed its name into the Semarang Catholic Institute of Technology (I.T.K.S.) in 1973. On August 5, 1982, with the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia dated September 24, 1983 Number 0400/0/1983, I.T.K.S. changed its name into Soegijapranata Catholic University.

Amman Arab University, abbreviated AAU is a university in Amman, Jordan, established in 1997 as a private non-profit university for graduate studies as the first Jordanian University specialized in postgraduate programs for masters and doctoral studies, on 9/30/1998, the Higher Education Council approved for the University to begin teaching by the decision No. (1625), as the University received its first group of students at the beginning of the second semester of the 1999/2000 academic year, the University's path passed in two phases: The first- was limited to graduate programs, and the second started in 2009 in opening programs for bachelor degree, and the name of the University was changed to “Amman Arab University"

The Suez Canal Corridor Area Project is a megaproject in Egypt that was launched on 5 August 2014 by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and was completed in 2015. The project aimed to increase the role of the Suez Canal region in international trade and to develop the canal cities of Suez, Ismailia, and Port Said.

Marwadi University (MU) is a private university located in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. It was established on 9 May 2016 by the Marwadi Education Foundation through The Gujarat Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2016. As of 2017, it offers 54 different courses. It is graded A+ by NAAC.
