Wellsburg is a city in and the county seat of Brooke County, West Virginia, United States. It is part of the Weirton-Steubenville, WV-OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The 2010 census recorded a population of 2,805. The diverse economy includes several telemarketing facilities, and a factory that does metal fabrication plus plastics molding.
The Salem Maritime National Historic Site is a National Historic Site consisting of 12 historic structures, one replica tall-ship, and about 9 acres of land along the waterfront of Salem Harbor in Salem, Massachusetts. Salem Maritime is the first National Historic Site established in the United States. It interprets the Triangle Trade during the colonial period, in cotton, rum, sugar and slaves; the actions of privateers during the American Revolution; and global maritime trade with the Far East, after independence. The National Park Service manages both the National Historic Site and a Regional Visitor Center in downtown Salem. The National Park Service (NPS) is an agency of the United States Department of the Interior.

West Denton Warehouse-Wharf is a historic warehouse located at West Denton, Caroline County, Maryland. It is an early-20th century timber-framed warehouse structure situated along the west bank of the upper Choptank River. The earliest section was built about 1850, and is the 40 foot x 100 foot center portion. The north and south additions were built in the 1940s. It is a representative example of a type of structure which served various functions in connection with waterborne commerce, and is one of only two remaining riverfront warehouses in Maryland.

It was built in 1858, and is a two-story, five bay, rectangular brick dwelling with a hipped roof in the Greek Revival style. It features a three bay portico with a hipped roof and supported by squared Tuscan order columns. It was built by American Civil War General and Congressman Isaac H. Duval (1824-1902).

It sits on a stone ashlar foundation and features a single bay portico with a hipped roof supported by Tuscan order columns. Also on the property is a contributing small barn.

It sits on a stone ashlar foundation and features a full-length portico with a hipped roof supported by six Ionic order columns. Also on the property are a contributing garage and carriage house.

Harry and Louisiana Beall Paull Mansion, also known as "Morningside" and the Charles H. and Geraldine Beall House, is a historic home located at Wellsburg, Brooke County, West Virginia. It was built in 1907–1911, and is a stuccoed dwelling in the Mediterranean Revival style with Spanish Colonial Revival style elements. It features a five bay portico with a hipped roof and eight columns. It also has wrought iron porches and pan tile roofs. It was designed by noted Wheeling architect Frederick F. Faris (1870–1927).

Danforth Brown House, also known as Old Worrell Farm, is a historic home located near Wellsburg, Brooke County, West Virginia. It is a two-story, five bay, brick and frame I house form dwelling in the Italianate style. The original section was built in 1823, with additions built in the 1870s. It sits on a sandstone foundation. Also on the property is the original spring house.
Inn at Fowlerstown, also known as Drover's Inn, is a historic hotel located near Wellsburg in Brooke County, West Virginia, United States. The inn was built between 1848 and 1851, and is a 2½-story brick building in the Greek Revival style. The property also includes a two-story log house (1820) and frame cottage that pre-date the inn. Contributing outbuildings are a small clapboard well house, chicken coop, and privy. Before 1938, the inn housed a general store and post office that served the small village of Fowlerstown. The village grew up around along Washington Pike at the grist mill established by William Fowler.

The house was built in 1893, and is a 2 1/2 story, red-glazed brick building in the Second Empire style. It has a tower and mansard roof. It features a full front porch with Doric order columns in the Colonial Revival style. The property also includes the site of a mill used for carding and manufacturing woolens dating to 1795.

It was built in 1797, and is a two-story, rectangular brick building with a hipped roof. It sits on a sandstone foundation and lintels. It is one of the Ohio Valley's oldest surviving examples of Federal architecture. It has housed the Brooke County Historical Museum since 1973.

Kincaid and Arnett Feed and Flour Building is a historic warehouse building located at Morgantown, Monongalia County, West Virginia. It was built between 1904 and 1906, and is a three-story, vernacular brick warehouse located along the banks of the Monongahela River. It is trapezoid shaped and has a prominent concrete-block loading dock with overhead canopy. Kincaid and Arnett functioned as a prosperous wholesale and retail grain dealership and brokerage until they sold the property to Morgantown Feed and Flour Corporation in February 1921.

The buildings are characteristically two- and three-story, brick structures in a variety of popular architectural styles including Greek Revival, Federal, and Queen Anne. Notable buildings and structures include the Railroad Water Tower, American Hotel, John Burns Building (1874), Erskine Building (1904), and Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad Station (1902).
Fowlerstown is an unincorporated community in Brooke County, West Virginia. It lies on West Virginia Route 27 east of Wellsburg. It was also known as Fowlerston.
