Zandile Majozi is a South African politician who became an MP in the South African parliament at the 2019 general election as a representative of the Inkatha Freedom Party.

Parliamentary career

In 2019, Majozi stood for election to the South African National Assembly as 5th on the IFP's regional to national candidate list. [2] At the election, she won a seat in the National Assembly. [3] [4]

Upon election, she was assigned to the following committees: the Committee on Multi-Party Women's Caucus, [5] the Portfolio Committee on Communications, [6] and the Portfolio Committee on Police. [7]

On 21 June 2021, she became a member of the Committee for Section 194 Enquiry, which will determine Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane's fitness to hold office. [8]

The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) is a political party in South Africa. The party has been led by Velenkosini Hlabisa since the party's 2019 National General Conference. Mangosuthu Buthelezi founded the party in 1975 and led it until 2019. Kevin John Mileham is a South African politician, a Member of the South African Parliament for the Democratic Alliance and the Shadow Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy. Mileham was first elected to Parliament on 3 June 2013, replacing Athol Trollip. His first parliamentary role was as the Shadow Deputy Minister of Land Reform and Rural Development. After the 2014 National Elections, he was appointed the Shadow Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs. In February 2019, he was appointed as Shadow Minister of Energy. Zwakele Maxwell Mncwango is a South African politician serving as a Member of the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature since 2018. He served as the Leader of the Opposition in the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature from 2018 to 2019. He was the Provincial Leader of the KwaZulu-Natal Democratic Alliance (DA) from 2015 to 2021. Mncwango was the party's KwaZulu-Natal Premier candidate for the 2019 election.
