Wayne Maxim Thring (born 1 February 1963) is a South African teacher and politician who serves as the deputy president of the African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP). He was sworn in as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa in May 2019. Thring had previously served as an MP in the same house in 2013. [1]
Thring was born on 1 February 1963. He obtained a teaching diploma from the Bechet Teachers’Training College. He later achieved both a BA degree in psychology and biblical studies and a BA Honours in psychology from the University of South Africa. Thring received a postgraduate diploma in economic principles from the University of London. [2]
Thring joined the ACDP in 1995. He was elected the deputy provincial chairperson of the party in KwaZulu-Natal prior to being elected provincial chairperson in 1997. He held the post for a decade. Thring is currently the ACDP's national deputy president and the provincial leader of the party. In 2000,he was elected as a city councillor in the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality. He served on the council until 2013. [2]
Thring was sworn in as an MP on 21 June 2013 but only held the post for five months before resigning on 21 November 2013. [3] However,he returned to Parliament following the 2019 general election. [4]

Andrew Grant Whitfield is a South African politician who has been the Shadow Minister of Police since 2019 and a Member of the National Assembly for the Democratic Alliance since 2019 and previously from 2014 to 2016. Having served as the provincial chairman of the DA in the Eastern Cape from 2017 to 2023,he is currently the provincial leader of the party and the leader of the party's Tsitsi-Kouga Constituency. Whitfield had previously served on the Nelson Mandela Bay city council and in the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature.

A member of the Democratic Alliance,he was elected to the National Assembly in May 2019. Before that,Cuthbert served as a councillor in the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality.
Samantha Jane Graham is a South African politician from the Eastern Cape who was elected to the National Assembly of South Africa in the 2019 general election as a member of the Democratic Alliance. Graham has been the party's Shadow Minister of Electricity since 2023. Graham served as the shadow deputy minister of public works and infrastructure from 2019 to 2020 and as the shadow minister for the portfolio between 2020 and 2023. Tsepo Winston Mhlongo is a South African politician. As a member of the Democratic Alliance,he served as a councillor in the City of Johannesburg until the 2014 national election,when he was elected to the National Assembly of South Africa. After that,he was appointed Shadow Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform. Mhlongo became the Shadow Minister of Sport and Recreation in January 2017 before he was selected to be Shadow Minister of Sports,Arts and Culture in June 2019. On 1 December 2023,Mhlongo was expelled from the DA and lost his parliamentary membership. He has since joined ActionSA.
