Əlimədədli is a village and municipality in the Goygol Rayon of Azerbaijan. It has a population of 321.
Azerbaijan, officially the Republic of Azerbaijan, is a country in the South Caucasus region of Eurasia at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia. It is bounded by the Caspian Sea to the east, Russia to the north, Georgia to the northwest, Armenia to the west and Iran to the south. Goygol is a rayon (district) in northwestern Azerbaijan. Formerly known as Khanlar, the region was renamed "Goygol" after Lake Goygol, the famous blue lake, by the decision of the Parliament of Azerbaijan on April 25, 2008. The administrative center of the rayon is the city of Goygol.
National Parks of Azerbaijan are run by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The first national park established was Zangezur National Park in 2003. Since then a further 8 national parks have been established; the most recent being the Samur-Yalama National Park in 2012.
Göygöl National Park — is a national park of Azerbaijan. It was established by the decree of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, in an area in Goygol Rayon administrative district on April 1, 2008 on the basis of the former "Goy Gol State Reserve" that was established in 1925 and which it superseded, on a surface area of 12,755 hectares (127.55 km2). It was enlarged from 6,739 hectares (67.39 km2) of the former state reserve to its current surface area as a national park.
Goygol is a city and municipality and the capital of the Goygol Rayon in northwestern Azerbaijan. It is about 10 km (6 mi) south of Ganja, Azerbaijan's second largest city. The city of Göygöl has a population of 37,200. The municipality includes the city of Göygöl and the village of Qızılqaya.
Göygöl is a natural impounded lake in Azerbaijan. It is situated at the footsteps of Murovdag, not far from Ganja.

The 2005–06 season was Gabala's first season in Qabala since moving from Goygol. They played in the Azerbaijan First Division under Faig Jabbarov and for the first half of the season, and the cup games, played under the name Goygol (Khanlar). In the second half of the season, they played under the name Gilan (Khanlar) before changing their name to Gabala FC at the end of the season.
