ΝHΠIAΓΩΓEION: Live in Europe 1988 (Nipiagogeion, kindergarten) is a live album by American post-punk band Savage Republic, released in 1990 by Fundamental Records. [2]

Post-punk is a broad type of rock music that emerged from the punk movement of the 1970s, in which artists departed from the simplicity and traditionalism of punk rock to adopt a variety of avant-garde sensibilities and diverse influences. Inspired by punk's energy and DIY ethic but determined to break from rock cliches, artists experimented with sources including electronic music and black styles like dub, funk, free jazz, and disco; novel recording and production techniques; and ideas from art and politics, including critical theory, modernist art, cinema and literature. Communities that produced independent record labels, visual art, multimedia performances and fanzines developed around these pioneering musical scenes, which coalesced in cities such as London, New York, Manchester, Melbourne, Sydney and San Francisco.

Savage Republic is a Los Angeles based post-punk band formed in the early 1980s. The group reformed in 2002 and remains active with a different lineup.

Musical instrument History and classification

A musical instrument is an instrument created or adapted to make musical sounds. In principle, any object that produces sound can be considered a musical instrument—it is through purpose that the object becomes a musical instrument. The history of musical instruments dates to the beginnings of human culture. Early musical instruments may have been used for ritual, such as a trumpet to signal success on the hunt, or a drum in a religious ceremony. Cultures eventually developed composition and performance of melodies for entertainment. Musical instruments evolved in step with changing applications.

Brad Laner is an American musician and record producer best known for his work with the shoegaze band Medicine, which he founded and led.

Design can have different connotations in different fields of application, but there are two basic meanings of design: as a verb and as a noun.
